Good Luck to all you Easterners. Hoping it's not as bad as predicted. If you can scurry out and get some 2 liter drink bottles, empty contents, fill with cold water and throw in freezer. Leave just a little head room for expansion. If you lose power they will keep your fridge freezer cold and foods in fridge cool for some time. We keep 10 frozen at all times and have much use for them almost every month, year round. My neighbors pull out their small generators to use just for their refrigerators. We don't have to do that with the frozen 2 liter bottles.

As we keep our frozen bottles ready for long periods and they thaw pretty frequently we put a drop of chlorine bleach in the water to keep down any cooties.

Kansas City, fly over country
You'll get there eventually. :)

Picked up the map on my first run through...it is funny!
But seriously....for those in the danger zone.........be safe!!

I watched the Steelers game today and it looked really nasty in Pittsburgh.

BTW, what gives with those throw back uniforms? They looked like
Ronald McDonald.

Hi all - hope everyone is doing well and safe!

Couple questions: I have left the Twists plugged in from a few hours to all night - it shows green ALL the time on the charger.
Now the batts last maaaybbeee an hour. What's your guess: a batt problem or charger problem?

Also - noticed our local Runnings (farm hardware store) not only has needles and syringes but PG by the gallon.
One brand is $12.95 and the other $24(?). They both say USP and identical "cattle" something or other use. Would this be the same stuff I read someone picked up at a Tractor Supply? The price difference is a puzzle ...

The Mini VV Nova's: Anyone's tank get "cloudy" - "whitish" looking? I'm sure liking the ease of cleaning these puppies over the clearo's and their respective headaches ... tho I suspect from some reading there's a lot to be said for the juices ... I do believe adding that little 'roll' of cotton helps keep the coils from gunking so bad with the darker juices. Sure would hate to give up the Espresso!

Haven't been on much - partly hubby wanting the 'puter when I do; partly neck / back pain - sitting for even a few minutes at the 'puter irritates ... partly my pocketbook starts whining when reading about all the goodies you guys keep bringing up!

Muldemar: tried makin any bubblegum flavor yet???

Debadoo: did you get moved ok?

JJ2: You find some of the cutest stuff too! Love that Winter Storm Map. Got so cold outside the other day I had a shot of Brandy to get warmed up again! Sheesh ... ( I keep telling myself in 6 months this will feel great! )

Take care - :D

Uh oh - sounds more like the Twists than the charger. When Janet's eGo batts did this, it was a sure sign the batts were failing. That said - the eGo's have a re-set feature - click the button 10 times fast. Doing this to one of her eGo batts (Joye brand) fixed it, so the green light, changed red when hooking to the charger, then it would charge up OK.

Also - noticed our local Runnings (farm hardware store) not only has needles and syringes but PG by the gallon.

Don't know enough about this, only that there are different grades of even USP labeled PG.

One of your juices has a flavoring that's etching the tank. Do you use and cinnamon? That's one of the common flavs that eventually cracks tanks. I have only one juice that did that to a Vivi tank.

Hi Kico - I just added my :2c: inside you're quoted post

Thank You Mike3!

Kinda what I thot on the batts. One was replaced as the button would stick "On" from time to time. But the replacement did that too.
The second one did it as well. I sent a message to Virgin Vapors about this ... Of course it just after the 30 day period (last week).

So here on the forum - take note: There has been NO reply to date ... I will give the fast clicking a try but I'm not holding my breathe! There - feel better about that! Won't be any repeat business here!

No cinnamon ... Just blueberry / Caramel Apple / and a "Melon Magic" ... guessing from what I read before it's the Blue Berry?
No matter - just curious ... makes it distinct and easier to tell apart from the others! :vapor:

Some of my clearos will get cloudy after I soak them in hot water. Did you boil them Kico?

Hey Kico..was getting worried about you:(
I read somewhere MBV Carmel apple eats tanks..
I dumped mine out, that I had in a tank..and it wasn't etched..But wasn't in there that long..
I have a friend that gets PG from a tractor supply store..Pays around $20/gal..
Personally I would use the $24/gal..Im sure the difference in price is 1 is more refined..
I made a small batch of BG..Its getting there..still have to tweak it more..
Im discovering what you like to eat or drink..Isn't always a flavor you would like to vape..
I dont like candy canes or those round swirly candies you get at a restaurant..
I Got in a bottle of peppermint flavoring,By mistake..So made up a small batch of peppermint joose..
And....I like it ..go figure:lol:

Love my lttle REO mini. I drive a Flat-Bed Tractor Trailer for a living. Tarping, strapping, chaining, hauling- lot of work involved. And everything takes a beating on a Truck. Whan I asked for a 'rough service' PV, Classwife suggested the Mini. I've dropped it in the floorboards and down the runningboards, even accidently drop-kicked it off the trailer once. Just picked it up, wiped it off and kept on vaping. The bottom feed concept saves me from having to drip while driving 80000 lbs at 70 mph. My mini will remain my at work PV, but since everyone speaks so highly of the VV features, I thought I'd try the Twist and T3 at home. Hope when they come in I'll be as pleased.

Nice. Didn't know the Reo's were so sturdy. The twist is going to be quite different for you, but they work well and might be a very nice change for you. That's a lot of miles you cover! 80k miles - doesn't sound like you get to spend much time at home! That's a job I could never do because the motion of riding in a car puts me to sleep! My FIL used to drive a TT for a living and I never understood how he could wake up at 7PM (or whatever time a particular run was) to go into work.

Try a lanyard (and "D" thread cover, to hold the lanyard in place) with the Twist. It keeps it from doing a lot of those "on the floor" maneuvers that you mentioned. I still have the Twist in my shirt pocket usually and it keeps it from hitting the floor when I bend over. You may love it in the truck as well since it is always near by.

    Shiny side up...

    Relax, Enjoy!

Recently rec'd 2-T3's and 2 replacement coils from iVape.net. One works great and I love it. The other 3 heads do not have the internal eGo threads cut deeply enough to allow the center post to make contact. I have submitted a ticket at iVape and I will keep you all updated.

Prayers sent for those in the path of this storm. It looks like a beast!!
