Welcome Eben08:)..Wonderful to hear about you and your BF..and trying to help your mom!
I have Diabetes and leg and foot problems are just a part of that..so I can relate to your mom's problems..
For me analogs tasted nasty..But needed the nic..Plus the habit part..hand to mouth..
If you can find a joose your mom REALLY likes..aka Yummy:lol:
When she does need a lil nic..she wont even think of a stinky..and Grab her ego..Because it tastes so good:D

My dad passed on 6 years ago due to smoking related problems. When started vaping, my Hubby started soon after. Now, I have converted all of the smokers in my family to vaping, except one. He just won't take the leap, but I don't bother him about it. He knows I have stuff stashed away for when he's ready.

I am happy for the ones who switched early on. I can only home that Hubby and I quit smoking soon enough to avoid the heart and lung problems my Dad had.

OK, followup on my T3 post #7816...

Went through a tank and a half of some nice vaping (aka no dry hits) before deciding to do an evaluation cleaning. Removed the air tube and the two piggyback cotton ball wicks. The PBCBWs were not as 'soiled' as I anticipated. The coil was as cruddy as my first cleaning. Rinsed, dry burned and make a new PBCBW (just one larger one). Vaping as good as new.

So what's da diff? I think that the PBCBW keeps the coil 'wetter' than the original silica top wicks. Didn't have one dry hit since the PBCBW 'mod'. Since I'm enjoying the vape, I'll continue to monitor da T3s' performance.

AND... welcome to all our new thread participants!!!

Just be sure to use the right cotton.

What is the right cotton that is easily available? I never paid attention when it was being discussed way back because I wasn't planning on rebuilding any but might try it on top of my t3 coil to replace the wick that is just laying on top of the coil.

egg-on-my-face, My Piggy-Rabbit humor didn't work for choosing the right cotton for PBCPW. Tex, just make sure it's 100% cotton w/o any synthetics in it and it should be fine.

WHOA Mike, are ya holdin' out on us as to a new porcine/fowl/rodent wick combo? Granted, pork fat rules, chicken flav is soooo easily 'duplicated' and rodents are da next protein source (check out da EOTWAWKI posts). But I do believe ya just let the feline outta da bag... cough up!!! Oooops, nevermind...

I didn't know what EOTWAWKI is/was - So I googled it - About 34,700 results (0.27 seconds). Yikes, I don't want to eat chicken flavored rodents. Can't I just stock up on Twinkies.

Yiddle....your Shi Tzu is the spitting image of my Shayna. Just beautiful.:)

Then of course Shayna must be beautiful also :D Shiyo thanks you. Something happened with the color when I sized the pic down to use for my avi. He's gold and white with just the tips of his ears and his eyelashes black

She was quite the beauty. She came from ribboned parents (that's not why I got her) & was also gold & white with those gorgeous black lashes. I had to quickly find a pal for my little guy at home (shi tzu also)who was so miserable as his older buddy passed away & I couldn't watch him moping. The breeder didn't want to let go of her because she wasn't quite old enough - I kept her on a heating pad for a couple of weeks. I had her for 18 years & that last day she started having horrible seizures, never, ever sick. I've never seen a seizure & pray I never see that again. I'm just grateful she wasn't sick & when it happened, it was quick. That was on a friday & the following monday I lost my other little shi tzu who was only 15 yrs old. Oh how I miss them - but everytime I see your picture I smile. Phew.....aren't you sorry now that you responded? Anyways, Shiyo is truly gorgeous....they're such a blessing.
BTW...if my post is meandering, I apologize - I think I just took to much benydrl:facepalm:

Oh crap! I just heard this:

You better stock up now on your Wonder Bread, Twinkies, Ho-Hos, etc.
The parent company of Hostess has filed bankruptcy and put all assets up for sale.
Only about 3 days of distribution left of product.

Pity isn't it. The only good thing is 'twinkies' NEVER go bad & last forever. hoard:p
