Congrats on your decision. I think it is a good deal for a VW device and Rob at smoktek is a good guy to deal with. I think you are the first one on this thread to get one. I have one coming but won't be here for a couple of weeks so I will be looking forward to hearing how you like it.

Will do Tx after doing a good bit of reading and the fact that the ZMax is out of stock most places i decided to go with this as it is pretty much the same but sounds easier to use and more versatile. And i saved a few bucks to boot.

I have the ZMax too and I'm very happy with it. If it is close to the build quality as the ZMax at that price it is a bargain. I got both of mine in Co-ops so I really got good deals on both of them. I do like the versatility of the Vamo too and is why I decided to get it plus I got such a good buy I couldn't turn it down.

Just got my father on ecigs. its been 1 month now. The surprising part is that he uses v2cigs (cig type ecig). and he is 63. i wasnt sure it would work but i gave it a shot and now he is off analogs. i will continue to keep an eye out to make sure the v2cigs work for him. I guess it is never too late to change.

That is so wonderful 01max. A month is quite a long time, and to be able do it with a cig-alike is really fantastic! I hope he continues to do well, and enjoy vaping.

I ordered heads from them a couple of weeks ago. It took four days to receive my goodies but there was a weekend in the middle so shipping was really quite quick. The heads were genuine, side branded with voltage and fit perfectly. I also ordered a set of mini tubes and they too were perfect. And the coupon code worked as well.

Well, i did it i pulled the trigger and got the vamo kit from smoktek as they had the best deal on it and the vendor i was going to use to get the ZMax was sold out so i got bot a set of 18350 and a 18650 and charger in the kit for right at 90$. After researching it i figure it should be the same functionally as the Zmax but can do a little more with being able to use the 3 different battery set upsand it is the rev 2 so you can change from avg to rms and menu looks easier to use. Hopefully it will be a good purchase if not it will be up for sale and i will get the ZMax instead. i will prolly still get a Zmax down the road a month or two. Will keep everyone posted once i get it as to its performance.

Thanks X P. Was it you that said you have one? If so how are you liking it? it should be here early next week am looking forward to it will be stalking the mail lady till it comes. I got vape mail yesterday and today and have some coming friday and this wont ship till friday but is priorty so hopefully will have it on monday. Yesterday was a DID clone ,today jjuice Friday a T3 and a clear tank for my other DID clone then my mod mon and yesterday was my b-day now it feels like christmas in Nov. LOL Course my bank account doesn't like me anymore.

I carry my ZMax in a leather lanyard. I saw Smoktek had one kind of like mine for 5.99. It isn't quite as long as mine but it you might ask him if a Vamo fits it ok being as the Vamo is about an inch longer. Lanyard - Large size for Zmax, Vmax, Bolt, etc.

Awesome....you are gonna love it!!! I have a V2 and a Mini.....that's all I use. Have an older KGO that is used for dry burning. Only thing that would tempt me now would be a Mini that does VW....gotta think they are working on it.

The VAMO might just fit that bill when you use only one 18350 battery. It'll be pretty short.
Although the battery life will probably be pretty short depending on how high you have it cranked up. But hey, we all have spare batteries anyway. So no biggie.

jj, if the handle is the same as the gripper those protected batterys are too long...........these are what I use

CGR18650CH Panasonic 18650 Li-Mn-Li-ion CGR18650CH High Drain 10A Rechargeable IMR Hybrid Battery Cell

this is just one place to get them.........someone else may pop in with a better price somewhere.....dunno
