OK I have to admit I don't think I have ever really read the numbers or markings on my twist! I did give it a shot once in the daylight but gave up. Its mainly my backup if my PV goes down but looking at the pics of the spinner it looks very farsighted friendly!
Looks like a lot of "older folks" have quite a collection of mods and are very in touch technically

Yep, the spinner looks good. You're right about us old folks being very in touch technically. Maybe we just have more time to play and some of the folks who hang out here have some pretty interesting backgrounds. I'm not one of those, but I like to bask in their glow. I just qualify in age.

Am I totally losing it or did somone here post about the Sigelei z-max? Anybody know a vendor who is or will be carrying them?

Yiddle, there's a co-op for them here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...w-option-8-displays-vrms-271.html#post7937168

And anyone looking for a VAMO cheap - this co-op just started a couple hrs ago and only 2 are left. The order is being placed tonight.

This is the only place that I know that has the Sigelei Zmax. Home Page NEW SS SIGELEI ZMAX VV+VW RMS

Tex, you are a wealth of information! After you write your book, maybe you should think about opening your own B & M store. You'd be the go-to guy for anybody getting started or old pros who just want to know about what's new.

Hi all, wow - two newbie issues in less than 3 days. Just typed this whole message and then timed out and lost it all. So here I go again. Since I believe there are some here that may not read the Older than 55 folks - I will include a bit of an intro - the big long intro is in the other thread.

As I said I am pretty new to vaping, started on Oct 30th with en ePuffer Colibri (yah, had to have on that was like a real cigarette) - but it did work well enough to show me that this could work.

I then found this thread and read all the great information here. Ordered a kit with two 650 mah eGo Twists, stardust clearomizers and battery charger. I also ordered some Kanger cartomizers, Kanger T2 clearomizer and a Vivi Nova along with another 1000mah Twist battery and a PCC.

Since the Twists arrived on Nov 22 I have not an a single cigarette - and I still can't believe I am not smoking after 46 years of steady puffing a PAD+. For the most part the stardusts, the Kanger T2 and the Vivi Nova are all working. But I did have my first issue with a stardust on Friday night. I filled the stardust (in a hurry) I was using with the RY4 juice that seems to be the best for getting me past any desire to smoke.

I did vape it during the drive - but just as I arrived at my destination - the battery dies. Oh - but I was prepared, I disconnected the battery and attached the stardust to the other twist battery I brought with me and put the dead battery into the PCC to charge.

So - on my second trip outside with my friend - we were in a non smoking building and she is still smoking - but that is another story - on my last vape - I got a mouthful of ejuice :p. So after we were inside I took the stardust off and it looked like it might have leaked some ejuice on the battery. I set it on a napkin and it did leak a bit. So I put it in a baggie in case it was going to leak more.

So sad - I had a spare battery, my PCC and even a baggie to bring the leaking stardust home - but I didn't bring another stardust or even a cartomizer  So - that is now two good lessons in 3 days - I won't make that mistake again. I just figured that since I had just filled the stardust and since I had to go outside to vape - it would be more than enough to last me the 4-5 hours I would be gone. Anyway - not a big deal - it just meant that I couldn't vape on the way home - but really only a 15 minute drive so for sure not the end of the world.

So - after this long winded intro - here is my question. Can I still use that stardust? I did dump out the remaining juice when I got home (into an empty bottle) and I rinsed it out with hot water and left it to dry until today. Not feeling to comfortable about trying the dry burn thingy - since I would have to pull the plastic cap off - but I guess if that is necessary - I will try it.

I am not sure if the leaking was because I was in a hurry and I didn't get the top back on properly or since it had been filled 2/3 times it just needed to be rinsed out. I kind of hate to throw it out - since it was only filled 2-3 times, was just a week old and when I pulled another new one out and filled it - the plastic seal (not the O ring) but the actual seal inside the tube - fell into the juice - right after I filled that stardust. I pretty much figured it would never get back into place to seal properly - these are the CE4's and not the ones that are re-buildable. So - had to dump out more juice and start with another new stardust.

I guess can now see what some of the frustration with these can be - but I do like how they vape. I have tried the Kanger horizonal coil cartomizers and while ok - really not as good as the stardust or the Kanger T2. The verdict is still out on the Vivi nova - but that could just be the juice since it was a new flavor and it does seem to be very muted so I will have to try that flavor in a stardust to compare.

Oh - and if 70 is the new 40 - does that mean I am in my late 20's  don't think I want to go back there ;)

I'm sticking to 17, that's the truth & I'm sticking to it
One word of advice - ALWAYS HAVE PAPER TOWEL W/YOU WHEN YOU VENTURE OUT!;)

Sorry you went thru all that...fun learning curve you're on. I stopped with clearos a loooong time ago, therefore, never even tried the 'viva novas' or anything that came along after that. I've found the the carto/tank system works the best for me & there I shall stay - at least this week.:D

Haha, the bottom of all of my purses have crumpled napkins and paper towels. I have also been using carto tanks for months and months. I just haven't seen anything new worth trying come along yet. Of course, I did get involved with the Raven, but that was essentially a fillerless carto for my tanks. Of course, it didn't pan out.
