Here is a vendor that has the Vamo for 44.64 using 5off coupon plus there is a video review on this page as well. http://.........blogspot.com/2012/12/the-vamo-variable-wattage-4699.html

I bought my VAMO at vaporbank.com and I can recommend them for their prompt service and quick response to questions I had. They even followed up to make sure my issue was solved.

Well my 9 days seems piddly compared to 3 years congrats... In 2 years 356 days I can tell you about my 3 year anniversary.... In the meantime my wife has seen my success and is gonna come over to our side so I get a excuse to get a new toy already, been thinking of a vv and seeing alot of talk of the VAMO what is it? I I tried searching for VAMO but just kept getting pointed back to the forums.

9 days is definitely something to be proud of. It does get easier after awhile, but in the beginning each day is a happy surprise. You seem to be doing really well so I predict that before you know it you'll be celebrating a month, then 6 months and all of a sudden it will be a year and then 3 years!! Enjoy the journey and it will be so nice to have your wife on it with you.

Yuck! And it started off so well. The bunny ball on top of a Vivi Nova worked well, so I thought I'd try a bunny tail on my Genny. I wrapped a strand of Aunt Lydia's #10 knitting bamboo thread between the coils of Kanthal wire on the wick. The 1st tank was great, it did help to increase the amount of vapor. But into the second tank vapor started dropping off significantly. 1/2 way into the tank I thought the battery went dead, very little vapor. Took top off and low and behold, gunked to the extreme.

This is a pic of the bamboo thread as I was unwinding it from the coil.

I don't know if they could take that much voltage. They handle 8 volts but I don't know about 12.

Woohoo! Quickest co-op ever! Bucky started it Sunday night and my Vamo arrived today. A 7 day turn-around and it came from China. My Provari's are already getting jealous. Haven't touch one of 'em since the Vamo arrived. It's a lot of PV for not a lot of money. Might be the best cost/benefit expenditure I've made since I started vapin' a year ago.

Also - anyone interested in that new super-duper-wizz-bang Joyetech eVic - a co-op just started up today.

Wow that was a fast co-op! I agree the Vamo is a lot of bang for the buck! I was surprised at how well built they are for the price. I've been using mine pretty exclusively in the mini mode with single 18350. I only have a couple of minor complaints with it. I wish they would have had a way to lock the setting so it doesn't get changed accidently like has happened a couple of times. I also wish the fire button was a little higher maybe reversed with the two adjustment buttons. It would be more comfortable especially in the mini mode and less likely to hit the adjustment buttons by mistake. Those are minor things but would have made it better for me. It is a great buy though and is a great way to try variable wattage with little investment. I agree Mike I think it is the best buy per dollar I've got in my three years of vaping.:toast:

I'm really liking it - almost feel like I should have bought 2 of 'em. I too was surprised how well it is built. I have to be really picky to find fault like the fire button is just very slightly not centered with the screen and 2 control buttons. I would also like if you could press the power up or down button just to check the setting w/o it changing the setting. And it's somewhat annoying that after switching batts you have to turn it back on again. And what all is inside the top half of the tube. I'm using it in mini mode w/ the 18350 and it's still almost as long as my standard size Provari w/ an 18490 batt. At least it seems to remember it's settings after a batt switch. But for $32 it was a real bargain for all it's features, its fit/finish, and how well it seems to vape.

Dear Santa,

I have been a good boy....most of the time.....except for a few bad days. Well, OK, quite a few bad days. But, I did quit smoking. That's good, isn't it? (Pulls out catalog containing photos of PV and Mods)

So, I would really like one of these. Oh, and could I have one of these too? What about one or maybe two of these? If you want the truth, I want one of every one that is new and one of every one that will come out next year. I like to keep up. Oh, Santa, please, please, please. I'm on a fixed imcome, you see. And it's gettin' to where I have to choose between a new mod or new socks.

The cookies and milk will be in the usual spot. Thank you, Santa and Merry Christmas.

Move south, you won't need socks.

Was still thinking about getting a zmax, but i may opt for another Vamo instead. Although i do like the look of the Evic also and may go for one of them, after we get some real life testing done.

I have a Zmax and a Vamo. I like my SS Zmax better when using a 18650 battery but I like the price and versatility of the Vamo better. I only use the Vamo in the 18350 mode though being as it is a little too long and heavy for me when using the 18650 setup.

ibounce back and forth between big mode and small mode. I like the 18350 setup when at work cause it fits in my pocket. At home i generally use it with the 18650. Bad thing is i still carry my twist battery with me just in case. I need to pick up a couple more 510 to ego adapters for my t3's tho as i now have 3 of them and it is easier to just leave them on the t3 rather than the mod that way i can still use my stardusts and vivis without having to worry about it.

I was impressed with Mike's Vamo too, but what's with the name? Sounds like something that would be sold on one of those Only on TV commercials.
