I have a Zmax and a Vamo. I like my SS Zmax better when using a 18650 battery but I like the price and versatility of the Vamo better. I only use the Vamo in the 18350 mode though being as it is a little too long and heavy for me when using the 18650 setup.

Tx or Mike have you guys tried it in stacked mode? If so did you notice it running hotter? Because mine seems to be when running stacked.

Haven't used it with stacked batts yet. Will try that next. After the 1st 18350 ran down I put in an 18650. Don't notice any difference in vape using the same settings. But what I don't like as its anoying - the 18650 fits just a bit loose and certain movements it loses connection and I have to do the 5-click to turn it back on. I've heard this happening to at least one other person. Perhaps stretching the spring a bit will fix it. It's not a big concern, I don't plan on using 18650 or stacked batts regularly. It's too long for me in that configuration and I'm used to the batt life of an 18350, which I use in the Provari mini.

I'm using button top IMR batts - does this PV work with flat top batts?

Tx or Mike did you guys have a chance to try your Vamo at 6.0 watts to see if it runs away or not? I may be returning mine if it is an isolated incident. I posted in the Vamo thread in the Smoktek thread and Rob said he would check to see if it is the old or new version for me but any time i set it to 6.0 watts i get nasty burnt hits bad ones. Am going to give him a call tomorrow if i don't see anything in forums.

The wall wart only transforms 120 volts A/C to 5 volts DC (output).

Innokin recommends a 1000mA (1 Amp) (output) wall adapter, so you can use any wall adapter with this rating OR HIGHER.
The MVP will only use what it needs. You can also use a lower rating, but it will probably take longer to charge.

rik-I've been running mine at 6 watts without a problem using both 18350 and 18650 batteries. If I crank it up at all using a 2.5 ohm T3, it gets too harsh. 6 watts seems to be my sweetspot.

I just tried 6 watts and it seems fine. Are you sure it's in RNS (NO2) mode. When I switched from volts to watts, I swear it also reset me to AVG (NO1) mode. So I made sure it was RMS (NO2) mode. It does hit stronger at 6 watts if it's set to AVG (NO1).

Thank you...I don't have one that's that high, so, my PC will do for the time being. Why was I able to understand your short explanation & nothing made sense with the others?! (DUH)

Huh? If this requires a 1 Amp output, how does it work from a computer USB port? USB 2.0 specs are 5 volt / 500 mA output.

Thanks guys. Appreciate it. I double checked and i am in rms mode N02 and it is not right at that wattage. Looks like i will be calling Rob at Smoktek tomorrow it is still under warranty so we will see. Have heard good things about his customer service. Maybe we can switch it out for a gun metal one.

Because it will not draw more than it needs and it cannot draw more than the output is. A 1 Amp wall wart would simply be working at less than its' maximum, which is usually preferred.
