..... Waited again... leakage. Removed the T3 and set it on my bench. Later, 'weeping' like a basement in Key West!

Have yet to load up the other T3 I have. Am I holding my tongue wrong or what?

rut-roh! Sounds like you got some from the last batch before the Chinese shut down for 2 week holiday. Those were obviously rushed through the line w/ less than stellar QC.

OK, got a couple of Kanger T3s based on reviews here. Loaded one up with Janet's Heaven and let it sit for initial wicking. Well, went to use it and had joose on my PV. OK, double checked everything, no noticeable issues. Waited again... leakage. Removed the T3 and set it on my bench. Later, 'weeping' like a basement in Key West!

the link you provided goes to vaporheads, K-3, 5ml top coil ...the kanger T-3 are 2.4 ml bottom coil...

For everyday, I use box mods and 14500 batteries. I have two chargers and each will charge four batteries, and as I said, I have a lot of them, so I rarely run into a problem.!!

Hi jj - Question for you (or anyone) - I now have my first box mod that uses 14500 batteries, all my other pacifiers are ego type, Twist, etc. How long can I expect the 14500's to last - long term wise? I bought 6 batteries & don't know if that's enough & I don't know if this enters into the equation - I use 1.7 - 2. cartos; I also vape like a chimney. I'm finding that I reallllly like this box mod even tho it's not VV - I like the fact that I can hold the button down as long as I want. Wow....took a long time to ask that question - sorry. BTW - it only uses one battery (don't know if that matters). Phew....sorry again. DONE!

Through the connector end or the bottom of the tank?

Quick question? Just bought a couple mini vivi novas but GV was out of stock on the small tank sleeves, will this be an issue running tank on spinner or ego twist vv batts without the sleeve or is the sleeve just for aesthetics (DOH looks) or looks and support of tank? will it have any effect on draw or how the tank works?

I would love to have a pro vari but geeez that thing is expensive,I mostly vape at low voltages no more than 4.0 and I get a burned taste but I suppose if I had a higher resistance "head" maybe it wouldent taste burnt? Am I over thinking this stuff again?? guess it depends what juice im vaping too ?? lol im really getting into vaping ,must have more juice!

If you are using a regular box mod (takes one), they last a long time. Buy about a half a dozen and cycle and should get through close to a year.

If it a VV (this will take two), the life span is a lot less. I'd say, even with cycling, you'll have to buy about ever six months.

With either you will notice that as time goes on they don't have as much ump when charged or you have to charge more often.

When you notice either, buy new!!

I have one of the small sleeves, and several mini novas. I don't ever use the sleeve;) it's mostly for looks and I just don't bother.

regarding higher resistance heads..............yep, you're right. Won't taste burnt as fast with the higher voltage settings.

I gotta come into this thread to ask some questions, but I gotta stay out of this thread to keep my wants from exceeding my needs... I am getting ready to make an upgrade purchase for my XMas present and for my one year smoke free present, but I still cannot make up my mind what I want... I have lost a couple of batts over the last couple of months and before we take our trip I need to get some more backups... I just cannot make up my mind which way to go (aaarrrggghhhh) LOL... I want to keep it simple with a smaller profile, but that is about all I know... Over the next few days I may be asking opinions...

Tex turned us on to these from a co-op he joined. I missed the co-op but luckily someone in the co-op has offered to sell me one. It will be for Janet to try out. She's looking for a bigger bat than the eGo but doesn't want something as bulky as a Provari, LT, or Z-Max. This one looks pretty nice for size and features.

Maximum battery life can be prolonged by NOT running the battery all the way down between charges. I also charge them in pairs and keep them in the same pairs. I'm using 8-18350's in rotation and so far they've lasted 6 months with no failures or other issues.

You can usually tell when the battery(s) start running low on power. This is when I stop using them.

The sleeves for an ego type connector (type D) are intended to be primarily aesthetic in purpose although I've found that they serve a functional purpose as well. The mini vivi can have a tendency to push down your post a bit which will necessitate pulling it back up from time to time. If you screw the vivi down until it just connects, then screw the connector up to meet it, then it will be firmly attached and the center post won't be pushed down at all. It may leave a thread or two visible at the bottom but it's not really noticeable and the whole setup feels a lot more secure.

Just my :2c:

I've been rotating 4 18490's for 5 month's now and no sign of them running down faster now, then when they were new.

You need to consider the Ω of your tank/carto/atty along w/ the voltage setting of your PV. The lower the Ω the lower the volts usually. I like ~2.5Ω juice holders at 4.0 to 4.2 volts. If I use 2.8-3.0Ω I increase voltage to maybe 4.6-4.8 volts. I stay away from LR juice holders.

jj - Thanks so much - that's great news! I found a good deal on the 14500's & I think I'll just order another 4-6 of them. A year is way beyond anything I imagined possible....not spending on new egos or whatever would make my wallet very happy. Thanks again!!

Keep in mind that I don't constantly vape like I did when I first started.

Mike.....Good news - thanx. My only experience with rechargeable batts has been with a camera & to put it mildly - those sucked! To get that kind of life out of these would be fantastic....:)
