Hey Tex, there's another co-op offering the Rider Robust and I was pretty interested in getting one, maybe Mike too. Like you said, it seemed to fit the bill for what I was looking for. You said the batteries didn't last very long - what do you mean by that? I currently use the 650 eGo's - how do the 14500 batteries compare to those? What do you think of the vape from the Riders?

The 14500 batteries I have are generic and are old so I'm not sure how long good ones would last but should last about the same as a 650 ego. I got a red one and it looks nice but the buttons are a little flimsy and the led isn't real clear. I only used it for a couple of charges and I've misplaced it so I haven't really tested it very long. I think I left it at my daughters house but who knows. lol The ohm tester works good and it vapes good but it isn't one I will use much. I'm used to 18650's though so I'm not probably the best one to review it. Here is a video review on it. Like he says on here it works best with SR cartos. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...s-i-pc-1450-battery-co-op-44.html#post7737677

Anyone interested in the Innokin MVP there is a co-op being formed but filling fast. It is a 2600mah box mod that uses a battery that is a permanent rechargeable battery. It can also be used as a charger to charge other devices. It is a very well built VV PV and adjusts from 3 V to 5 V. The only thing I don't like is it doesn't display resistance of carto which I prefer on VV PV's unless it is a VW PV and then it really doesn't matter.

Here is a Review by Phil http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...cussion/348651-innokin-mvp-2.html#post7716470

It will be about 35.00 including shipping in the Co-op and about 60-70.00 retail.

Just thought I would add my :2c: here. If it's using the same electronics as their iTaste. I think it's a great device for someone just starting out in vv pv's. While it doesn't display carto resistance, it does read it and displays a suitable range of settings. So those who are new to vv don't have to pull out a chart to see what they should be setting it at.
The iTaste was my first vv pv when I was scared to try them....................now I'm loving a zmax with vw:D

Janet - I found some TrustFire 14500 batteries (4 pack) on ebay for 16.99 inc. shipping & they're from the good ole USA (shipped that is). They arrived in a couple of days & I must say, they're holding up real good. I use them in a box mod that gets rotated, but, I'm pleased. Let me know if you want the info....:)

Thanks for the info Moishe, Looks I'm going to have to come back to this because we're leaving to visit our daughter in Denver on Wed. and won't be back until the 27th. I've been seriously thinking of getting a Robust, but think I'll have to wait till we get back to think about doing that. We're looking forward to going to Denver, but getting up at 4:00 a.m. is not going to be fun.

They recommend AW or Efest IMR batteries for them because of the VV.

I wish I could remember where I read it. I am almost positive it was the T-3 I read about though. I know it said that the tube is pressed in really tight so it is hard to get them apart but that it can be done. I know I will have to try it once I get some and they need cleaning.

Here is a good video on rebuilding the T3. Way too much work for me I would rather buy one once a month but this is for those that enjoy it. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...r-replacement-coils-co-op-20.html#post7745355

Anyone know much about the new Joye ecab? It seems to be a nice small form factor with interchangeable batts (380mah 14400's). I have seen one review, but not much more. It is being tagged more for entry level, but I like the portability, form factor, and it is the first I have seen in a small form that also has interchangeable batts.

My Volts are all dying. I have already lost both of my X2's (lasted 5 months) and two of my four 78's (lasted 7 months) - for me not a great life span since they were not dedicated devices - I swap around a lot. I still also have my two original Joye 650's (over one year) and my Joye 18650 mod, which is great for around the house, but not convenient to take away from the desk...

The ecab is proprietary, but so were the Volts and that did not bother me, and there is a 510 adapter so the proprietariness is avoidable. I care about leaks, ease of use and life span the most.. Joye has always seemed to make good products.

Anything someone can add about them.

Hi Semi. I haven't used the eCab but I have used the Ego-C system extensively, and the eCab uses the same type a atomizer and feeds from a tank. I always got good flavor, good vapor, no leaks and enjoyed everything but buying the atomizers LOL.

I found a deal this morning you might be interested in.

ECab kit - $52 Joyetech eCab Starter Kit - MyFreedomSmokes.com

The bigger deal is that they have the atomizers 30% off (must enter coupon code 30%OFF ) $14.70 5 pk after coupon
    Joyetech eGo-C Type "A" Atomizer Head (5pk) - MyFreedomSmokes.com

It's kindof a bummer that they don't give free shipping until you reach a $75 order, but maybe with a kit and some atties you could get there :)

Thanks Kat. That is the one I was looking at, but wanted to make sure there were no red flags first. How long do those atty's last you?

I guess I am going backwards. Today is my one year vape-anniversary. I treated my self to a couple of automatic 350mAh stick batteries. Thought I was out of luck on finding them but finally did @Madvapes. I am loving my 650 mAh ego VV but still really like the automatic. They are a lot easier for me to use while driving 'specially on rough roads.

Iffy do you take the T3 head apart to clean/dryburn?

I haven't until the below quotes.

I took apart a T3 coil that wouldn't work and there seemed to be two "wicks".

Took one apart. Mine had two piggyback wicks on top of the coil, which had a wick through it. Those two PB wicks were filthy, even after rinsing in place. Plus they kept the top of the coil covered with subsequent crud on the coil. No wonder the flav went to crap so soon and I got 'dry' hits!

Yes you can remove the center post by wiggling back and forth while pulling. They snap back in real good with a little effort. I've only dryburned one that way but it was fairly easy to do.

Yes, quite easy! I removed the two silica top wicks and rolled two small cotton ball wicks as replacements. Reassembled and so far so good. Great flav and much vapor. Now if this combo lasts for most of a tank, I'll be a happy camper.

I'll keep ya'll posted as to my further results...

Thank you Iffy. I know if I can do it, after smoking most of my life, anyone that really wants to can do it too. I would pat myself on the back but my arms just won't reach that far. :)

Actually, the best part of it all is that since I made it this far, it gave my sister the incentive to start this journey. I am so proud of her. She told me yesterday that she isn't going to buy any more cigs when her pack was empty. Yea !!!! for her.

Congrats Mattiem - that'a major milestone to hit. And what a nice bonus, you set a good example for you sister.
