I did look at those and they're perfect actually. All pre-orders are full though :(

I got lucky, MikeE3 posted about these in mid December and as soon as I saw it had to get in on the pre order, all I use is VV box mods and this looks like one that I won't tear up working in my shop.

I never really looked at the shorty and didn't realize it had replaceable batteries. My eGo 650s seemed so big after starting with a kr808. Now the 650s seems tiny compared to my Robust and ProVari. So the Shorty takes a 800 mah? Very nice, I shouldn't have assumed it would have a smaller battery. Yes, I think it wouldn't hurt to have a vent hole in the bottom cap.

Yes Janet - the shorty tube accomodates an 18350 battery. I got the Efest 800 mah because that was the one GV recommended, and it fits and works nicely.

@Kat....so glad you like your new toy!!

@Old C....Isn't it frustrating when you do decide what you want and then it's "not available"?

Metal drip tips in sub freezing weather...brings to mind...

LOL Gloria - I am going to have that as a mental pic every time I use my metal drip tip!

I don't post here but I do read the thread pretty much every day and hope I'm not breaking in where I don't belong but this really caught my eye as I just got through researching before shopping. Sooo... why in the world would anyone be making an unvented mod? I just don't get it. Its scarey frankly. In the last week I've bounced back and forth between vendors who don't list much info and youtubes trying to get the info they don't give. Yeh... its scarey.

Hi patkin. I didn't know any better back when I bought em and didn't even think about it. The more I've learned about all this stuff, I've become worried about it but have continued to use them. Definitely looking for a way to get a hole drilled in em though :)

Oh wow! Kat56 you got me thinking. I have two ego c upgrades and two ego passthroughs... got out my magnifier and couldn't find any holes! So what does a vaper do in that situation... well, search bar of course. :) I found this by DaveP:

Maybe yours has a cutoff too? Anyway it sure has me thinking about my passthroughs... that usb is a big piece to blow out the end. The little gripper I'm looking at is looking better and better. And I think I'm going to invest in a battery charging bag too.
