I got my ZAP last week!
Damn its amazing I have rebuilt the coil twice just to try different wicks but I have to say it is pretty damn good great vapor and taste and no hard to build (after I watched Zen's video 10 times!) I am putting my other rba's up for sale and honestly I should have just bought it a long time ago. The only reason I bought it this time is that is was at my local brick and mortar at the same price as provapes site so I snatched it up they have like 3 of them!

Is anyone else having insane dirt storms? The wind has been going strong for the last 30 hrs. NNW at 39 gusting to 45.

YES... I was in Ruidoso the weekend prior, and it was snowing and blowing dirt at the same time. Mud essentially. Disgusting mess, so we left. Come home to TX and the next day, is does the EXACT same thing here. And several days since just wicked blowing dirt. Last week we had one day w/ gusts upto 65 mph. Saw trampolines that had jumped fences & were rolling down the road. Did some damage. Just ridiculous.
Roaring again today. Makes my head POUND.

Not since being stationed in Idaho some 30 - 35 years ago (land o' eternal winds). Really don't miss the dust devils, Jack rabbit infestations and black ice. But sure did luv da Western attitude of da folk, tumbleweeds and Kokanee fishing there!

Where in da Centennial State are ya? Spent four years teaching at Lowry AFB '69 - 73. Must say, IMO, that da 'real' Colorado was west of da Continental divide.

Nonetheless, I have soooo many fond memories from there; marriage, first home, first daughter and falling da most ways skiing without breaking any bones, etc.

Geeze, sorry for an ol' farts flashbacks... <ummm, not really

To keep this post vaping related, sure wish vaping was available back then!

Nice going Gloria. I re-wick my recoiled Vivi Nova's all the time. Since you can't dry burn w/ cheescloth, cotton, bamboo, or hemp, when it needs a cleaning I just take the wick out. Dry burn the gunk off the coil and re-wick. i can do this many times before the coil itself gives out.

I didn't have much luck with the hemp. It wicked real well, perhaps better than the other materials. But it imparted it's own taste to the juice. I only tried it with fruit flavs and i could barely taste the fruit. Over in the 'hemp thread' the most popular is gotten from an Ebay seller, lovepedal. A lot of different hemp was tried over there and this seemed the best.

Great tips as usual Mike! Thanks for pointing out that the Nova can be rewicked too!!

I was really tickled to find an easy way to get the T3 working good without having to buy more heads. :)

Can't 'member if it was in this thread or da 'other' where Mike recommended da same concept recently. BTW, da same concept is popular with whipping mooring lines and wrapping fishing rods guides.

You're right Iffy, it was Mike's tutorial on rebuilding the Nova that pointed me in the right direction for using the wire as a threader. :)

Congrats Devo :toast: I'll meet you at Fran's and maybe we can figure out where her flavors gone?

Just keep that dirt out of the streams. I'm coming to Denver in May to go fly fishing w/ my daughter - don't want no muddy waters.
