Well, you just pretty much told my story......I am back here looking for simple answers. I've been vaping about two years now. Been very careful with all of my equipment....have introduced a few things....like clearomizers.....but still pretty basic.

What are you using for your set-up?

Hey there Imb, nice of you to drop by. What are you using now?

It's a rebuildable atomizer which means you have to make your own coil and wick. Poor Fran finally decided to get one and had a couple days of frustration until she got it to work right. It turned into an ongoing effort with lots of people jumping in to offer suggestions so if you're looking for simple, this isn't it. My hubby is MikeE3 and he rebuilds everything and makes it look simple, but there's a large "fiddle factor".

Is this our Fran talking good things about the ZAP or did Jewels send her a bottle of wine or did Willie send her some JD or did she just beat it into submission with hubby's Estwing. Well it's taken you awhile to befriend it, or it befriend you. By the end of my 1st week I knew I wanted another one. I do agree not all flavors are enhanced with the ZAP compared to a Fusioin. But on the other hand, I've had flavors that were 'OK' in a Fusion, but I really like in the ZAP. Fran maybe the Easter Bunny will bring you another Pro-Mini-ZAP combo?

Hello imb, welcome aboard. If you've been vapin' 2 years a big CONGRATS to you. ZAP is short for Z-Atty-Pro a rebuildable atomizer for the Provari PV. You build your own wicks and coils hence the nickname RBA. There's a picture of one in my signature line. Here's a pic of the inside of a typical RBA showing the glowing coil.

My wonderful Zap is actually working fine. I have a great draw,I have great vapor and I have taste but I don't have the taste that seems to impress everyone else so much. My tanked Fusions win hands down on flavor.

I am so glad you guys turned me on to these Fusion tanks! I have a lot of devices going right now, and I keep going back to the Fusion......I can't believe how pure the taste is.....what satisfaction! The c/tank and my peppermint is all that I'm vaping now! I'd prefer a 3.5ml tank, though! This 6ml is a bit too big for me! But, I'll suffer through it! LOL

I almost ruined it today though cause I needed to refill it, and not sure what I did, but I tried tilting the cartomizer so I could drip the fluid into the tank, and it started leaking.......all is well now though....just have to get to be a bit more experienced with these.

I'm thinking of buying myself something special for my birthday tomorrow, but can't think of what that may be.......LOL

If the Fusions were in, I'd get a lot of those, but no stock yet.

yep - Menthol and Fireball. Fireball tastes just like the ones we got as kids - monster cinnamon taste!

Gloria, it tasted just like fresh ground beans! I made 30ml of the Butter Rum Toffee Coffee and I sucked down all but maybe 4-5 ml. doing the extract was the way to go!
I ended up with a extraction of about 30ml, from 2/30ml pg start!

Nice.. almost makes me wish I liked coffee.

According to Phil Busardo, when you rebuild it correctly, you will get an epiphany or something Apparently once you get it right the flavor and vapor can blow your mind.

OH MY... what is the simplest way to change juice flavors in a clearo? I decided to change flavs in 2 of mine, as I'm not hopping up and down over 2 new ice flavs I got from MVB. SO... I took those 2 apart and cleaned them out and they are drying. But is this what has to be done everytime one wants to change flavs in a clearo?
I hope I can get these blasted things back together correctly tomorrow. Pfft.

I just poured Extreme Ice in a 3rd one that was almost empty and said to h*ll with it.

In other news.. spent the day at hosp again w/ MIL. Unfortunately the chatty-cathy "I want to go home soon" that came out of surgery is not the person we have today. The past 24 hrs she has been weak, pale, and pretty unresponsive except to say that she just wants to die.
We've conversed w/ the docs and made some changes, so I hope that tomorrow her spirits will pick back up a bit.

And I ordered VOLT starter kits and cartos for 5 of the "under 30" crowd in our family. I gotta get these kids to quit smoking!

LOL and I have been exactly the opposite. I want nothing that even resembles a tobac flavor. I'm with u on the girly-glamming tho. Some really pretty stuff to be had. So much that it makes it difficult to decide!

Natasha, hoping for the best with your MIL. It is hard when they are not doing well. As for changing flavors in your clearos - that is pretty much what I did - at least in the beginning. Now, I usually have a different juice delivery device (JDD) for each flavor. I then only clean my clearos usually about once a week - or if I decide I am done with a specific juice flavor and I want to dedicate that clearo to something else.

It did take me awhile to gather enough JDD to do this or I have at times just done what you did and say the h*ll with it and just added something to one that was almost empty. Sometimes it depends on what you have in it - it might even lead you to a mix that you then do on purpose

As many of you know, I really like cartotanks. I usually buy my cartos in bulk directly from China. I am wondering if anyone thinks cartomizers will be affected by the new legislation, either by availability or price. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't order my cartomizers the way I do now.

Just a SWAG on my part, but I'd guess that cartos will continue to be available. My only concern besides the nic, is higher taxes/duties for equipment/supplies.

Iffy, have you tried one of these. For only $12, I thought I might grab one for emergency back-up. But, doesn't the 510 connection tend to come loose since there's no metal (only plastic) to attach to?

I know it's only $12. But, it won't just fall apart in my hand, will it?

ETA: And, should I buy black or pink? Maybe both?

I'm hoping it's a Y2K thing too. Don't think there's any question about the nic and the juices going up in price, but I'd hope they'd at least let the equipment alone. It's possible regulations could come suddenly so I hope it's just the nic.

Yesterday my neighbor got nervous enough and decided to order nic and supplies to start DIY on her own for 3 people in her family. She got so flustered she forgot to add the flavorings and the coupon code and missed out on a 20% discount for a first time buyer. Panic buying is not good!!

Gracie the little screw in the side fill port doesn't get in my way at all, and I love it because it is so easy to fill. One of those personal preference things though I'm sure.

I don't know anything about the SVolt Mod...they sure don't give much info, but from what I see it looks like it would use stacked batteries to push output to 5V?
