I use the cheapest Brother hand-held label maker I could find. Then trim the label to size and put on the tank. This one at Amazon is actually a better model than mine, but on sale for a good price. The label refills are expensive, ~$10 but one lasts a long time.

Amazon.com: Brother Personal Labeler Machine, White (PT90): Office Products

What do you use to make the labels? I've tried writing with a sharpie, but it wears off. Then I made little labels with masking tape, but the writing wears off and it looks like crap....lol.

I have thought about a bigger tank, but I tend to rotate flavors a lot, so the smaller stuff (Stardust, CE3) work pretty well for me. I do like the way the tanks look on a larger PV, but don't really want something really large.

GotVapes has the Vision Stone 3 with replaceable innards at 2.1-2.3 ohms. Is that the same thing?
VISION Stone 3 - Tank Mod : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

Yes I ordered one but it only lasted one refill and it is in the trash. I had much better luck with the Version 2. Sometimes the improvements aren't improvements at all. lol
I ordered mine from GotVapes.
I'm off to do errands and will check in later. Everyone have a great Vaping Day!

Didn't know you were in here, Mike. Good morning. Thanks for posting the label maker info. I use the DYMO Letratag Plus Personal Label Maker. Bought it used at a yard sale for $2, but it had no labels. And, yes, the label refills are expensive.

Yep - I'm around my 'puter this morning. Vaping some caffe moca and finishing my 2nd cup of coffee. Was up too late last night finishing book 2 of Hunger Games. The days work will be adding additional screws to the bedroom floors to rid them of squeaks before the new carpets are installed. Yesterday was spent finishing painting the hall way.

I do love a woman not content to stay in the kitchen.

Good looking tanks there, Mike. :) The real deal breaker for me with tanks is what the tube is made from. I don't do polycarbonate tanks anymore. Too many have cracked on me. The tubing must be polypropylene, the same thing syringes are made from, which will not crack or craze because of acidic or cinnamon juices. I vape mostly fruits and I love my citrus flavors. I was so happy when Smoktech started making the DCTank V2 out of this material. I've also heard that Smoktech is making them in a shorter length for standard sized cartos.

Tanks are fairly easy to use. You'll just have to find what works for you to punch, drill, poke; a hole in the carto. I use DCT tanks that I cut down to size so a standard size 3.0 ohm Boge fits them. These tanks are inexpensive and easy enough to fill using a syringe. (I think my4jewels was a pioneer of cutting these tanks shorter). I don't like dual coils, particularly with a ProVari and I don't like XL size standard carto's. The juice seems to cook in the tank when using the XL size carto, and can turn dark / off color before I finish a tank. A carto will last longer when used in a tank, but you'll still have to change it out occasionally.

These are both 3.0 ohm single coil carto's loaded with BWB Malty. The XL carto/tank has turned dark after a couple weeks of use. (Anyone else notice this with their XL or DC carto's in a tank?)

A popular alternative to a traditional tank is the Stardust class mini-tank/CE3. My wife uses these exclusively and highly recommends them to her vaping friends. They last a long time, relatively easy to refill, and give nice flavor and vape. I tried them and think they are better then a carto/tank. But I don't use them as they don't work for me well on a ProVari. They need to be tipped up to get the liquid to the wick. On an eGo type batt thats fine - but it's awkward holding a ProVari with the end pointing up.

Thanks for the reply, Mike. Good advice! Having to tip my pv up sounds like it would be ... well, awkward and feel a bit unnatural.

Am I going to have to search this thread to find out how to cut down a too-long ... what the tank itself?

Am loving several of the news flavors that came in the mail this a.m.! Yay!

I have Stardust type on my lava tube, as well as the KGO. I just leave the PV laying on it's side when not in use.....wicks are always wet. Have never had to tip one up. As long as you don't let them run out of juice too far...it doesn't seem to be a problem.

How far is too far, HD? 1/2? 3/4? other?

Another thing to consider is that it may be condensation. In a tank/clearo situation, any condensation accumulates in the mouthpiece. In a carto, it would simply be absorbed into the carto filler. Twist up a tissue and wipe out the inside of your mouthpiece and you'll be less likely to get liquid in your mouth.

I actually rest my Stardust type clearos standing up, but I give 'em a quick finger roll before vaping and keep it at a basically horizontal position. I've never had a dry hit. :)

Just a note. I'm not coordinated enough for 5 fast button clicks with these fingers. But I eventually get it. Someone with better fingers would do fine.

By the way, I'm not saying anyone should buy one or saying it's the greatest thing. I'm just sharing something I'm trying. No one is probably interested, but I thought Semiretired would because he uses Ego gear.
