vision nano fits perfectly as well and as i mentioned innokin is hearing all of us and is working on more for itaste

Under the cap? is there a flat tip for the nano someplace? 'Cause mine doesn't fit under the cap... Fluxo reg is perfect tho - the cap closes, no leaks, great taste, and with the reg. usually no modding needed either, just a seal lift occasionally. Life is very good.

Great video. :)

That white looks really pretty - I think I'll get that one next. The more I use this thing, the more I like it. It's very ergonomically pleasant, and easy to change voltages and everything.

And: I tried the second Tidy, and it fit under the cap perfectly - it must have been just that first one that was a little longer than normal or something. These little cartos really rock, I like them a lot. On some juices the flavor is actually better than the Stardust. I'm totally floored that it's a bottom coil...

I'm going to do something I've never before done with a PV: a pocket test. I'm going to go take my dog for a walk in a minute, and put the iTaste, with a Tidy under a cap, into my pocket. And see what happens. :)

So, what happened with the pocket test: nothing happened. And that's the way I like it. :D No leaks, no other problems. Cap is totally handy - protects the carto don't have to worry about anything with it on. Happier and happier. Never had a PV I felt comfortable lugging around in my pocket before - this one seems fine though.

This may sound like a stupid question but if I order another iTaste battery, is it just the battery or does the cap come with it and magnetic steel square that holds the atomizer? Also, do you plan on selling more atomizers (like the ones that come in the set)? I didn't see them on the site. Please let me know as my order has not yet shipped and I'd like to possibly add to it. Thanks

I sincerely hope they are listening. This next quote does not seem like a good policy.

Hi, Lauragal,

The spare battery is just the battery - nothing else. It's the only thing listed in the "what you get" section of the product page. So no adapter and no cap.

I certainly consider the pen cap to be part of the iTaste battery. It is one of the reasons I bought the iTaste. It will clip to a pocket, no need for a lanyard.

If I bought an iTaste battery and the pen cap was not included, I would return it. If, indeed, the pen cap is not included with the battery this should, maybe, be highlighted on the page to prevent others from being disappointed or to allow them to make an informed decision when purchasing.

I've ordered the iTaste and went back and ordered the spare battery . While I'm hoping they will offer the longer caps seperately, when and if they get them, I didn't expect a spare battery to be the whole enchilada. When you order an ego or kgo battery anywhere, that's what you get. A battery. If you want a cone or anything else to go on it, it's seperate. :)

Yiddleboge is right. A battery, in this case, is like a "spare part". Or, like an eGo batt. The cap is part of the kit, like a cone. I mean, the word "battery" is pretty self-explanatory... :)

And, yes, I think Bad mentioned that the caps will be sold separately at some point.

Another update:

(I hope you guys don't mind that I'm posting these updates - it's just that I really want to give those sitting on the fence a good idea about these, and, like we were talking about in the ViVi thread, first-impression reviews are not always accurate; I want to give sort of "progress reports" once in a while, for a fuller picture)

I left it lying on its side with the Tidy in it overnight. No leaks this morning.

Note to self: The Tidy is a bottom coil, so it does better when held vertical-ish. I gotta get out of habit of tilting too much. :D After a whole night in the horizontal position, I had one "dry-ish" hit, and after that - perfection. I think this carto takes a bit of time to break in. Because this morning the taste is even better, and the vapor is much greater than in the beginning. I'm soooo impressed with it. Chris, Dan - please sell five-packs of this guy or something, and in more sizes? People will *love* it. (Colors won't hurt at all... LOL)

This particular carto is 2.2 Ohms. The iTaste recommends 3.3 to 4.1 Volts for it. I decided to really put this thing through it's paces, and loaded this one with a fairly subtle tasting vanilla juice - it gets very easily lost in most clearos. Not this one. At 3.3 Volts the vape is just warm enough to be enjoyable to me (warmer than I could get the regular resistance Phoenix to go on the ProVari without dry hits), and the taste is creamy and certainly strong enough to be pleasant for me (and I like stronger juices, normally, my taste buds are on a weak side). At 4.1 V the vape is quite warm, as to be expected. I took six very quick vapes in succession, and not even a hint of a dry hit. I stopped at that point, because this juice is kinda delicate and doesn't do good at really warm temps. So the lesson here is: The recommendation given by the software is spot on, at least for this carto.

So I decided to really stretch its legs, and put up the batt power at 5V. And, guess what? This carto can handle it. I couldn't chain-vape it, but not because of dry hits - the juice-in-the-mouth thing becomes rather pronounced at this power, I had to wipe it every other hit if I was taking short drags, and every hit for longer ones. Kinda hot, too, expecially when juice gets on the lips. Yikes. But the flavor is awesome, even for my delicate juice. Yeah, this carto is rather spectacular: a range from 3.3V to 5V for a 2.2 Ohm bottom coil is impressive.

But here is another interesting note: the carto is really a tad small for most regular 510 drip tips. I don't think it's a good idea to stretch the tube and disturb the vacuum? But one drip tip did actually fit without pushing it: the ceramic one. With it in, the condensation problem goes away - at least it doesn't get on your lips - and you can vape away at 5 Volts with no problems, other than it's better not to chain-vape too much since it's pushing the carto just a little. Of course the configuration with the drip tip doesn't fit under the cap, so I am not going to vape at 5V when I go out. But, frankly, real hot vape is not my thing anyway. At least we know it's possible. :)

Another note to self: If you take *really* strong, fast pulls at higher temp, you can get a drop or so of juice in the mouth once in a while. Not much, but enough to remind me to take slower, more relaxed drags.

Still love this batt. The color is sooooo pretty. It's really dark green-ish in cooler light, and nice deep rich purple in warmer light, like the incandescent lighting in the evening. And it really plays around in the sunlight. The little perlescent specs become more visible in bright light and give the color a lot of depth without being in the least gaudy. It's downright elegant - exactly what I was yearning for in a PV... Definitely will be getting the white next, when the separate caps come out.

So far, this is actually pretty much the best batt-carto combo I've ever tried. No kidding. Of course, I haven't been using a Stardust on it, which I'm going to do shortly. But I know the Stardust doesn't have this kind of range for me. And the batt is definitely higher grade than the Twist - not that it takes anything away from the Twist, it's just more sophisticated and much prettier. And, of course, there is the matter that you can't see the voltage numbers on the Twist easily, while this pup has this beautiful, bright, large display.

Vape haven so far. :)

I guess I have lived a very sheltered life since I have dealt exclusively with pass-through batteries (expect for the 3 Twists) and have never dealt with Innokin before. A pass-through battery (from any other company) always comes with a charge cable and always comes with a COVER for the pass-through connection, even though it is 1) not a part of the battery 2) not absolutely necessary. In other words it is just trim, but it is included for aesthetics.

The iTaste battery happens to be a pass-through battery.

I thought that Innokin would want to know different reasons for their iTaste not flying off the shelves (like they should be). It takes very little to turn customers away, it also takes a lot to turn them back again.

If they wish to create a world where pass-through batteries do not come with charging cables and cover, that's fine with me, just don't tell me that it has always been that way and don't expect me to be part of it.

I meant this to be constructive so please do not take it any other way. Since it is hard to tell tone from written comments, I thought I would add this.
