Kendra....English Aristocracy????...You are a member of The Emerald City...It doesn't get any more Aristocratic than that..LOL..Yes, I always say I want to convert to English! When I used to read more period stuff (especially Thomas Hardy! OMG, Mayor of Casterbridge is one of the best books ever! And, the movie with Ciaran Hinds- if you haven't seen this, you have to see this) I'd always say this.
But, I want to convert to English Aristocracy. . . . I do not want to be a peasant!
lol
Vicks....I just can't get the picture out of My mind of Barak Obama sitting in The Oval Office vaping on a 901 saying "Damn...The Wiz was right these are pretty good!"I just can't get the picture out of my mind of Barak Obama in a fro wearing lots of bling, pointing a very large index finger at the TV camera, and uttering those words....
Did I mention I have a vivid imagination?

Vicks...If only Bill had been using a Bada-Bing back then...Just think of the trouble he would have avoided! And looking guilty as Bill n Monica when the Secret Service comes bursting in, convinced there's a fire because someone saw a whisp of smoke...
How true this is! I guess I need to go post on the discipline thread. ..Kendra....English Aristocracy????...You are a member of The Emerald City...It doesn't get any more Aristocratic than that..LOL..The Wiz!(Looking for more peasants to convert)

gep....I can see why you passed on the signed edition..$525...that is for Rich Die-Hards IMO!! I guess I will hold on you my yellowed old paperback copy from '89..LOL....Hope you get a chance to read They Thirst...even if your not crazy about vampire genre it is still a great read!....I will have to give a look into the others you mentioned..Thanks!!Swan Song!!!!
I've worn out two paperback copies because I keep re-reading that story. I finally broke down and went on Ebay to find a hardbound illustrated copy but couldn't afford the signed Limited Edition:
SIGNED Lim Ed McCammon, SWAN SONG, 1st HB/DJ/SC, 1989 - eBay (item 380093663665 end time May-29-09 19:17:50 PDT)
The story of Swan Josh and Sister is one of my all-time favorites!
I have two other authors that I absolutely love: Tim Dorsey and Christopher Moore. Dorsey's books include an antihero named Serge and the humor is dark(if you're familiar with Carl Hiassen, you'll recognize the style). Moore's books are just zany.

Just two little words for all of you "Darker Side" fans
Sherrilyn Kenyon
That's all I need to say!
Yowza!!!!!!! (tee-hee)![]()
I think I've got a couple of books by her - the name is familiar...I'm going to have to puruse my bookshelves to see if she's hiding back there....somewhere.
Hi Bite! Did ya have a good weekend?
