I'm glad you like the Baked Cinnamon Roll. I just made a 100mL bottle of it Sunday and am vaping some right now. I always let it sit a day or 2 with the cap off, after shaking the beegeebees out of it, to let the alcohol evaporate off. It gets really "smooth" when it's gone.
Good to know about the alcohol. The BCR did seem a little harsh, I put it down to being unsteeped. I've got it sitting with the top off now.

I hope your package from the USPS shows up. I've had 2 from Colorado and Arizona, that each took a rest somewhere along their journey in the last month. But they both showed up a couple days after I contacted the USPS about them. They'd been promptly shipped by the vendors, and had made it about half way here, and then just quit showing any movement.

Mine finally showed up tonight, coincidentally right after I contacted USPS. Guessing it went out on the wrong delivery truck last week, then took a while to get back out due to the weekend and MLK. I wouldn't even have worried about it except I had never seen that Alert status before.

I also made another 120mL of the Lucky Shot + Lotta Latte combo (Caramel Latte to me) and a 30mL bottle of the Succulent Strawberry. I only used 3% of the SS this time, and I'm letting it sit for 3 days before I try it. It got stronger in that time period when I first made it with 8%. It was great the first 2 days, but then it got way too strong for me after 3 days. I diluted it twice to get it to where I liked it and it liked me.

@JCinFLA
What is the mixing % of lucky shot and Latte? My friend wants to try it, so on my last order(which I just got today, after usps said it was 'delayed') i picked up some of the Latte. Already have the lucky shot.

Thanks
:)

Since USPS went to their new 'tracking' everything is really missed up.....Don't know why people have to 'fix' stuff that ain't broke.....so don't feel alone, I thing we all are having 'trouble' with usps lately.

lol
:)

Didn't know they had changed their tracking system. Maybe that accounts for the Alert status that I had never seen before.

I use 7% LS + 6% LL to make my own, which gives me really good flavor @ my 7mg nic. I make it for a few others who have me make theirs at slightly higher % though, because 1 vapes @ 12mg and the other @ 15-18mg nic.

I think they went back to the pony express.
Just had a package take 2-1/2 wks to get to FL from CO...

From what I've seen of the weather CO and surrounding states have been having for awhile now, that may be causing the slow downs. Also, I know that at Christmas time, unless a package was going Priority Mail (loaded on planes before other classes of mail)...the First Class ones that used to go by plane too, were having to go by ground because there was no room.

Do you think these % would be too high for a 3mg?

Thank you.

Nope, not IMO. I've had friends who DIY and vape @ 3mg who've tried my %, and they liked it, too. Maybe you could make her just a 10mL batch at those % as a trial for her to see what she thinks about it?

I'm going to give it a try even though both of these flavors are out of my normal flavor profiles for DIY (certain drink and savory flavors). I like big flavor, but not too sweet. I do DLH's, don't use nic in my VG Heavy DIY, and vape at higher wattage's, so thought I'd start at lower percentages. Maybe 6/4, or even 5/3???

An OSDIY package with LS and LL included was due today, but didn't show up according to the now days often unreliable USPS tracking. So maybe tomorrow or Saturday.

You just might be pleasantly surprised by the LS + LL combination. Several people who've tried mine definitely were!

About a month and a half ago I got 2 neighbor guys started on vaping to help them slowly switch from smoking for many years. 1 guy was sure he wanted only tobacco flavored eliquids and/or maybe with alittle vanilla in it, too. So I made him a small 15mL bottle of Vanilla Tobacco to see if he'd like it. However, when he said, "What you're vaping sure smells good. What's that?"...I let him try my Caramel Latte. The 6-7 hits of it did it for him! That's all he's had me make for him since then. He's never even tried the Vanilla Tobacco yet and doesn't want to at all.

A longtime local vaper I know was vaping only menthol tobacco eliquids for several years, and another 1 was buying only coffee flavored or fruity ones for the last 6-8 months. Both of them are now vaping Caramel Latte as their ADV. So...you never know!

Since you don't use nic in your DIY, nor like it too sweet, and you vape at higher wattage...you may want to try starting with only a total of about 5% of the LS + LL. To me, the LS is definitely sweeter than the LL, so you might want to do LL @ 3% + LS @ 2%. That should keep the sweetness at a lower level. For a single flavor eliquid using their OSF or OSB...Kimberly (OSDIY owner) recommends 10% for Tootle Puffers and 5% for those who vape at higher wattages. That's where I got the idea that maybe a total of just 5% for the combo would be a good place for you to start. You can always add more if needed to suit your taste.

After over 50 years I stopped smoking stinky's and pipes before I had even heard of this thing called vaping (and was not addicted to nic, just to enjoying the mechanics of smoking).

Thanks kindly for your comments/suggestions. We're basically on the same track as I know from long experience that when some of my DIY's will be vaped at high wattage to cut back on the flavor percentages in their recipe. I always build for the joose and the gear. Why I have two or more recipes of many of my favorite vapes with basically the same profiles but at different strengths. Which one I use is based on the gear I will be vaping it in (the build/power, the fluid dynamics of the atty, etc). IOW, for my personal tastes, I know exactly how to mix and build for them.

I have been doing DIY for 5 years come April, well know my flavor likes and dislikes and know all the preferred flavor ingredients I use very well. Not normally on my want list is fruits, desserts, pastry/bakery, candy, etc, and I don't use NET's. I mostly do alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, and savory based on specific plant parts. I also like ice cold flavors but can't stand menthol, so use mints/other additives to get ice cold. Some of my beverage and savory DIY's will leave icicles in my throat, are great to vape when it's 120+F in the shade here. I like strong flavors, spicy flavors, including some maybe few others would vape. They're the dragons. I probably have near 100 DIY's that I rotate out of the many 100's of them I've worked up over the years. Some are seasonal, some I'll only do 120ml of 'when in the mood' for them, but most are rotated so that up to around 25 of them at a time were almost always in one or more of my many mod/atty setups so that I could vape any of those on a whim. But I cut way back on the gear I rotate when I switched over to mostly using mesh RDA's day/night, so way back on the DIY's that are set up in gear as well now days. Only have 8 mesh setups on line so far (but there will be more). ADV's is a bit or a misnomer in my vaping as I don't vape anything all day/night every day/night for weeks/months/years. Variety on a whim is my vaping style.

I have dived a little into some not normally on my list now and then. Fruits are a big stretch for me, I simply don't like fruit vapes. But I do have a not too sweet Blueberry Ice I vape now and then that works just fine for me. Desserts/bakery/etc are others I tend to avoid. So the LS/LL will be a stretch. They are based on things I normally don't consume (other than black coffee if it's in the LL). If not too sweet maybe, maybe not. I'll follow my norm with something new and try them each alone first to get acquainted with them. If the LS/LL doesn't work for me I may find a use for them in other recipes to add an extra nuance to them. If not they will eventually go the way many before them have gone.

Finally picked up my vape mail in the wee hours this morning. A box from OSDIY and some more 20700 squonk mods. I see OSDIY is still playing around with finding their preferred bottles/caps for 120ml size... still going back and forth between 3 different bottle/cap combos from order to order.

Thanks again for the recommendations for these new to me concentrates @JCinFLA and others. I taste tested each of them rather than mix them stand alone and determined that I'd be fine with just following suggestions. I can always adjust if needed.

So I Finally made my first test batch of Lucky Latte this morning and have it happily mixing on the magnetic stir plate. Since I'm drinking and vaping Mesquite coffee this morning it was mixed first.

I also did a test batch of Blueberry Jam and Marshmallow that I'm calling Blue Marshberry. It'll go on the stir plate next. I will probably also do an ice cold version of it once I have the base recipe dialed in.

Will be using two Hadaly's on Pico 75W TC mods to test vape them with. With their RxW builds if the flavor is stellar they will shout that out very loud and clear. That's about all the Hadaly's are good for to me is taste testing. I'm not a fan of most single coil atty's (but bought 2 authentic Hadaly's anyway because they do deliver flavor very well). But they don't have enough air available for my full lung hits and by their design are easy leakers when tilted to vape if over squonked/dripped at all.

If either/both of these batches are eventual winners I'll do 120ml batches of them and they'll find their way to my Digi Mesh Pro atty's and 20700 mods where I can really put them through the paces for a longer trial run.

Oh, and sure as shooting I forgot a couple of things in this OSDIY order. With the way I vape I go through joose like it's going out of style, missed a couple I am running low on. So the list for the next order is already growing.

Lucky Latte @5% total flavor didn't get it done (mag stir plate and vape). While I know letting it age would improve it, it was way too far off the mark for me because I do like strong flavor. But the flavor combo does work well together (although too sweet). I go through ahellofalot of joose every day/night, so for most of my DIY I have learned how to mix them so they can be stir and vape now days.

I remixed the Lucky Latte to 6% LS/4%LL (stir and vape). It's starting to get there when driven with 80W-90W in a mesh RDA, way sweet but doable. So I'm going to let this test batch age some and try it again. If I eventually find the spot that works for me and have to age the mix (as I do have to do with some of my DIY's), I'll pre-make 120ml of the flavor combo so it can be aging before I mix it with base. In getting the flavor strong enough for me the sweetness will definitely be the limiting factor.

I can also see maybe using these two flavors for added minor nuances in some of my other DIY's, so they won't go to waste.

The Blue Marshberry is the same (Blueberry Jam/Marshmallow), way too tame for my tastes. So I'll be reworking it as well.

And so it goes when I add new ingredients to my DIY that otherwise is always perfect for me. You'd think having way more than enough very doable DIY recipes that work very well for me would be enough. But as a flavor chaser that constantly rotates the proven DIY's I still dabble with new sometimes... and I was over due.

Thank's again for your input on them. If I eventually work these out to the point that they join my DIY stash I'll LYK.

To those of you that have the Pink Lemonade, at what percentage do you mix it? I found a bottle of PL flavoring that I forgot I had. Thanks!!
I currently have mine @ 8% but could use a little more flavor so next time I will try @ 10%. Still good tho. 50/50 pg/vg.

I used to make mine at 5%, but then just raised it to 6.5% on my latest batch last Saturday. It's pretty good there, too, and still isn't too strong for me. I like any kind of a little bit tart eliquids at lower % than many people do though, I think. I make mine 60VG/40PG @ 7mg nic.

Thank you both! One of my son's friends gives me her empty bottles so I'm going to mix her some of the PL as well. I'm going to try a bit of FA Polar Blast in hers as she likes minty or menthol liquids.

Anyone got a good recommendation on a Melon? Just a mixed melon, not a water melon, or cantaloupe, etc. If you have ever tried a Melon Poweraid, that is what I am looking for. :)

Have you tried Flavorah's Wild Melon?

Haven't tried any melon, which is why I was asking, trying to narrow it down so I didn't order a bunch that I won't like. Thanks for the suggestion, just wish it didn't have alcohol in it, no mater how much I let it breath, seem to always be there.
