I think those ce2s are the right ones. They might need an extra hole, cuz those we got with the
O8 have two long slots. The Mt Baker link above is not working, but you can find them here:

ce2-dct-2-replacement-cartomizer

Might as well pick up some inexpensive juice if you buy from Mt B. ;)

Hey guys quick question...anyone know if this thing can take the 1200mah trustfire batts? If so does anyone have a link where I can get 2 and a charger for a good price? Thx

:)

They can only use batts that measure 35mm long or less. The protection on the ones you're talking about make the battery about 37mm long and won't work unless you modify the v8 battery slots/contacts. I'm pretty sure you can use a CR123A or a 16340 too.

I haven't found the 900mAh ones...but you can get these:
3.7v AW 700mAh 18350 Battery
Efest IMR 800mAh 3.7v 18350 Battery

And of course you can get 800 mAh eFest 18350s at RTD vapors...also 700 mAh AW IMRs

You can use 16340s no problem. I do sometimes. IMR 16340, LiMn 700mAh Battery

But..to answer your question...to date I've been unsuccessful finding 900 mAh 18350s in IMR

You can also get a variety of batteries on ebay. Here is a link which has a page with batteries and chargers. Many are free shipping.

Tripple digits half way to home
I've seen the 900 mah 18350 batteries. Owned a couple of em when I first got started with a Vmax. There is no label or anything to let you know what the maker is or the chemestry of the battery is. Didn't take long to get rid of em. They worked but after learning more, I just didn't trust em. Just my :2c:

Good call, T. I wouldn't trust any battery that didn't have a recognizable name printed on it. It's not worth it. If your face gets half blown off from using a bad battery with no name, who you gonna sue?

I only use AW brand. I trust their quality and reputation.

Yah, I have the blue ICR 900's that came with the v8 but I didn't feel that they were worth mentioning. They didn't last long either.

exactly why i'm lookin to get backups...i have a feeling they're already on their way out cuz they drop from 8 volts right off the charger to around 7.2 after only about an hour, when I first got it it was staying above 7.5 for at least half the day... gonna take baditude and steve's advice and get the efest 800mah, just lookin for a site now that has those and a charger in stock for a good price.

RTD Vapors has them, as I mentioned in a previous post! :)
