So... where's the back of this line?

Beautiful work, man... is an understatement.

And I'm here as well, anxiously awaiting my new Dibi OliveR in group 2, all while vaping on my "other awesome bottom feeder".

Where have you been? I was this close (holds up fingers) to mailing out a letter by snail mail to see where you had gotten off to.

well, somebody get Dizzie over here. He's a flashlight fanatic. Wouldn't want him missing out.
here we go
oh, and GG, if you ever feel like you're going off topic . . . .. pro'ly never gonna be nearly so bad as these nutcakes.

You guys are cracking me up:). I've been very busy with a whole bunch of RL junk... my son wrecked his car last week... making an illegal U-turn and causing a 3 car accident. No one was seriously hurt, and no one was hauled off by ambulance... but we're still getting sued by the other 2 drivers/passengers, because we own his car. Joy. That puts a small damper on my personal hobby enjoyment:(. (you did mention off topic:p).

I've been reading the informative back and forth with real confusion. Very helpful. What I got so far was this (correct me if mistaken):
I need 2 Sony VT4 2100mAh, AW 1600s, or possibly Orbtronic SX22

For coil build, I should do .4 to .5 ohms at 1/16 air opening for optimal vaping (per pdib), but if I want all day batteries, I should do .6 (per Supertrunk).

For RBA... the toss up is RM2, Cyclone, Cyclops as preferred (everything else requires drilling modifications to make into bottom-feed). There are several others, but they require drilling and the ability to do some modifications. The majority seem to prefer Cyclone.

For fuses, I should ask Pdib for lots of spares (*cough*)

See, I'm paying attention:)!

For coil build, I should do 4.5 ohms at 1/16 air opening for optimal vaping (per pdib), but if I want all day batteries, I should do .6 (per Supertrunk).

Just make sure that you meant ".4 to .5ohms"

Rm2, Cyclone, Cyclops, Divo all good RBAs. The coil build is really user dependent. what are you currently vaping? someone use to a 2.5 ohm carto at 7 watts or a 1.8 ohm micro coil on an RBA might find .6 wide open to be a bit much, or the response I got when I let someone try it, as they are tried to recover I heard "... dude, you're crazy"

Well... you know... that's a great question. I have never vaped a .6 ohms, and yes, I mostly vape cartos. At the low ohms, are you seriously dialing down the flavor and nic? I know people love the sub-ohms for the fast hit, but how does it actually affect the taste if all things are equal? Ie., if you have a given juice, what is the flavor/vapor/throat hit difference between say a 1.8 ohm vs .6 ohm setup?

You can't go wrong with any of those batteries. I'd go with pdibs recommend on that Samsung though if you plan on keeping your coils above .2Ω. They're not overly expensive either:
Samsung INR18650-20R 2000mAh - Kidney Puncher

Mine came labeled 2250mAh - took me a while to find out what they really were. They're great!:)

Same here on the modes :) here's one I just found :)
Convoy S4 XM-L2 T6 Neutral White 18650 [Convoy S4-NW] - $26.99 : Illumination Supply, Quality Flashlights and More!

Don't know what the lumens are though - it doesn't seem to list em?

Beware! Flashlights can become as much of a hobby as vaping. I was on the verge of becoming a flashoholic before I started vaping.

The vast majority Chinese lumen ratings are absolute LIES, even especially on Amazon and Ebay. Although Amazon reviews are very helpful when the flashoholics chime in. That said, there are a some great forums for information and modding. You can also get good information about the brightness of the lights.

The forums also list reputable venders, IIRC.

When I switched from dripping in cisco 2 or 2.5 ohm atties to an RM2 with .8 - 1.1 ohms coils I did drop my nic from 18mg to 15mg. but when I go from a single micro coil at .8 to 1.1 ohms to a dual at .5 to .6 I do not drop my nic. I have multiple BF mods so I run a few different builds switch between builds. I'll have a Cyclops or Patriot with dual coils at .6 ohm and an RM2, Cyclone, or Divo with a .8 to 1.1 ohm single coil running. there is a drop in flavor but I believe that is not due to the lower ohms as much as it is due to increased airflow and larger chamber size of the Cyclops and Patriot RBAs

I'm still floored since my discovery of a FLASHLIGHT FORUM! All this time, I thought I was cool because I own a huge rechargeable Maglight..
