I'm trying to look after mine - but it's my opinion that a mod ought to be able to take a good daily thrashing. I vape all day at work, not just at home in my padded cell with my wood mods.

HRH has the "house" mod, mine is on my belt. One week at work and so far so good!

Now for my shopping list:

one of each of the brass screws that go in the bottom and 2x the plastic ones that hold the becu in place please. I figure i may never have to clean it if i just replace screws and if i do clean them it'll be on a Friday when i have my fish and chips and throw vinegar liberally about!

I just gave mine it's first real and proper cleaning since Dec.1. I've given it a quick scuff or hit it with an eraser here and there. Rinsed the cap a few times. But I actually extended the centerpost til the tip was clear of the body, and shined it up. Disassembled the button and cleaned it. Rubbed the top and bottom of the spring on the back of some 2000grit (paperside). Scuffed and buffed the Leaf contact (mine's brass, all y'alls are BeCu). I think since I blew it apart on the shop floor, it's been a hair out of adjustment, and the contacts got a bit dirty from not touching as best as they could. Anyway. 2 1/2 months and an accident before it needed any serious cleaning. (15 minutes)

So, the other day, I asked to get put on the list, which I'm in batch #9 now. In the mean time, to tide me over until I get an OliveR, I planned on getting a REO setup and said I was going to look around for one (new or used).

Now, I've got a setup on the way to me out in the UK, thanks to Mr. Pdib!

I'll post you a pic when it gets here! I just wanted to publicly thank you here :D
