I have 28, 30, 32 ga and that awful Kanthal D .05, I don't like the taste on the 28 either...

I seem to do badly with the thicker wires, my 30 works the best for me (and I even taste that). No amount of heating and carbon film helps the thicker wires much for me, and if I vape it a lot, I end up with sore spots on my tongue (which means I have to not use that atomizer for a while). Just made the neatest teeny microcoil out of 30 ga on a corsage pin for my A7 (in Microstick). WOW, did that turn out amazing:)!!!

I will try a twist wrap soon:)!
That's interesting that you are tasting the wire... I was just reading about titanium wire. It's supposed to be superior in terms of oxidization - could eliminate hot spots (for those who use mesh) and is supposed to lack any metallic taste. I may give it a try - I'll let you know what I find.

Links to screws? Here are 2 pretty good ones.

Dark Zero goes in to some detail about sizes and bulk QTY's here:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/441159-modded-my-grand-fit-two-batteries-2.html

If you just want to buy a few, Kidney puncher sells 10 packs in 2 different head sizes. Both fit RM2/Cyclone/Hornet and so on...
Stuff for Modders - Kidney Puncher

I've also got screws and washers at RC Hobby shops. Just look for the size M2X0.4. They were a great place to size up the right washers too when I was still rigging up my AGA-T2

Well I just ordered a reo mini, olive drab, to hold me over till I get my dibby.

My first BF. I have a few drippers, immortalizer, I go w, mini squid, patriot. Is it east enough to dremel a channel in any of these?

I don't care for the igo w, immo won't work for BF. but the igo a or patriot should work decent right?

the immortalizer will work as a BF, vaping it right now on a reo but I think it's way to big for a mini

Man, I am haunting the Reo site and considering getting a BFer crash course before my 5th run Dibi is ready :/

What's the size variation between a Reo mini and a Dibi?

Seems to be a trend. I just got my grand last week. My advice, do it. It won't replace your desire for a dibi, just make it stronger.
