btw everyone; I've been struggling with this battery thing (rattle). Fact is, they all seem to be a little different. For the foreseeable future, I'm going to favor a little rattle over "battery won't go in" or "battery won't come out". I've been real careful to make sure the fattest o-ring fits before mods leave my shop (both with AW and Samsung). Not sure why they don't always fit when you try it (variation in battery length, I'm guessing). Since my mod isn't a screw-together tube, and doesn't have a spring under the battery, it's just gonna be as close as I can get it.

be creative: piece of tape, swirl of superglue, flip the battery around, or use the designed feature and remove/add/swap out one of the washers under the bottom contact . . .. . it was supposed to be a "modder's mod".

Oh no, I read it all.

I'm just scared to fiddle with the bottom cap screw. Don't want to mess up the fuse lol.

does the fattest o-ring fit? Is the rattle vertical or lateral? Does it rattle while you're trying to take a nap, or just when you shake it to see if it'll rattle when you shake it? :)

She's here!

Thanks so much mr dibi!

Rm2 doesn't get here till Saturday.. So can't use it "for real" till then.. But the IGO L is working fantastic :p

Few questions..

My AW IMR 18650
battery "wiggles" around, even with the O ring in place.. Is this normal? Or should I add the thicker of the two ?
Are you putting it in button side down? (It does make a difference in fit) O-ring should come up close to top of the body, but not above. Install size to make that happen, or if you have the opposite problem with a longer battery like SX30, you can remove a plastic washer to make more room.

It's relatively easy to push the bottom cap out when hitting the fire button.. Should I stop being so manly with it..?? Or?
Either stop being so manly with it, install the screw that came with it from the bottom to hold the bottom plate in, or hold your pinky under it when pushing the button.

And last but not least..

Best reccomended microcoil build (with cotton) for the RM2 on this beauty??
My recommendation would be a 5 or 6 wrap Mundy Magic on 1.35mm ID with cotton, but hey that's just me.

I'd like to report that I have zero rattle. :D

AW IMR 1600 w/ biggest o-ring.

Nice work Mr. Dibbs!!!

Yeah, I vape mine like Supe does. Not like a teacup, more like a fistfull of vape. I must confess, I designed it with the pinky under the mod style in mind; but that's why I included the screw for the bottom, for those who don't happen to vape like I do. There is, however, a wide margin between pressing hard enough for it to fire and pressing hard enough to push the bottom open. Maybe see if you'll adapt on pressage strengthage.

Fattest O ring doesn't fit unfortunately. The rattle doesn't sever connection or misfire or anything like that, it's both vertical and lateral. If it's not a problem, I don't really care. Little rattle won't bother me lol.

I'm mainly concerned about the 510.

IGO L isn't sitting up straight, sort of leaning to one side. Connection is still good and fires just fine though? Unscrewed and reattached atty multiple times and same result. Again not a big problem if everything works fine. Just aesthetics :p

Well, on the battery, turn it head over heels (flip the battery over), and tell me if the fattest o-ring fits then (please, I'm curious)

On the 510 . . . .. hmmm. Another thing I do, before assembly, is make sure that each and every single 510 takes and atty smoothly and evenly (I test fit each one before putting it in the mod). So, gently remove your atty, and take a good look at it's 510. The crookedy thing should not be happening.

I thought I was strictly told to put it positive side down D: . I won't put the top cap on..

Edit: fits that way. But I'm obviously not gonna fire it to test lol
