I have PMd and am on List #5 =] Plenty of time for me to get the topper selected and ready =] I checked the list for bottom feeders that had been posted and I already have a Vision Eternity, which is actually one of my favorites <3 Also mentioned in the list are the Killer 705s, and I have multiples of those since I started with carto tanks and always wanted a carto I could re-coil instead of trashing them once they gunked up.

I might have to pick a new topper, regardless, one that is just for this Dibby :/ ...something that is low and fat and not so heavy... it's like planning for the arrival of a new baby LOL

For rebuildables, I would recommend that you get a ReoMizer 2 (rm2). That is the easiest to rebuild. Note that a bottom feeder does not need tanks, the tank is built in.

I don't know .. .. but you know to get the "LP" version, yes? Unless you plan to buy a standard REO as well; in which case you might want the "regular"one. The regular RM2 is milled to have a skinny bottom section (so as to fit int he REO's catch cup). The "LP" is unmilled and won't look so funny on a mod without a catchcup (like mine). If you were to get a REO later, you could always get a "low profile" version, and you'd be good to go.

or, you could say what looks "funny" to some etc… so for folks like me who don't always get it right, funny is fine… in other words they both work on the Dibby

Most of the standard operating procedures given years and years of distilling over in Reoville apply here…

*one exception (at the current time) being the high performance factor built in to this here street-safe race car.

I've recently taken to modifying $10 Triangle's into bottom feeders. The result is an unmilled "Rm2alike". I've done two so far; they work great...

Where do I find those again? I had the website in my phone until I had to reset it.

Sounds interesting...Custom...have you posted on this yet? Pics?

I have not. I've spent most of my time on ecf in reoville. I didn't want to post about it there out of respect for Rob. He's the one who figured out how to mod these things for bf. I just copied his genius.

Here's the thread I used to figure out what was going on inside the Rm2:

The first one I converted took about an hour. The second one took 30 minutes or so. I think it could be done in as little as 15 to 20 minutes with more practice.

I'm pretty much at a loss with the bottom feeder attys, but I looked at some that I had and I see that I have many toppers with the center post drilled out:

Would these be bottom feeders?

The Eternity and the Killer is included in this list... there are more, but I could only hold a few to 'attempt' to show the hole.

Peter, I have been on the notify list with Empire Mods for a couple of months to be notified when the triangle comes in. Maybe Rob bought them all out. I did find two on Ebay although they came from Isereal. I laughed because they also had the adaptor for the "dry herb" I just wanted one for dripping not using my Reo to test flavors when I diy and I like the ceramic base. I contacted the seller to see if he would be getting more in but he said no. They were $10 a piece on Ebay when I bought them. Just a FYI. They seem to be hard to get your hands on!

Custom-Classic. I had been wondering what all goes into modding the triangle. It would be a real treat if you were to share. I have a pretty good idea how I'd go about it; but it seems you are the expert now. If you're not comfortable with that, it's cool.

If you like slightly smaller chambers, like the Igo-S, this and this just need the center post drilled to work for bottom feed. O-rings may need to be replaced, air hole enlarged, YMMV.

Robs RM2 and Igo-S bottom feeders are pretty good value IMO. If I took an rba to a local machine shop for bf mods, beyond FUBARing it, they would probably charge me $80 or so for the privilege :)
