Well... It official. The Micro-Gen squanks!!!... I was able to drill a 1/32" hole to the side of the pos post. An o-ring from an old drip tip prevents leaking.

My favorite atty meets my favorite PV... at last!

I only finished drilling & re-coiling it about 10 mins ago, but so far, it's working like a dream.

Because there's no need for a reservoir in the atty itself, I can make a much shorter version for squanking. I should be able to try out a couple more designs over the next couple weeks. I'll keep you guys posted...

I have vaped Jas's Micro Gens a couple months ago, prior to the b/f's … [these are the smallest darn rba's but yes rebuildable (quite easy actually because the center post fits a wick over it and you just wrap your coil around it vertically like a genesis]

that do vape like a dream… tons of vapor and tons of flavor! i like them around .6 ohms, and wouldn't go any higher, but i'm jaded.

if Jas does find time… there will be some very happy b/f vapers for sure!

I've been all about my RM2s for my bottom feeders....but I think its time to give something else a try. The Cyclone looks like it would be pretty studly atop a dibby. Anyone have experience with the airflow control cap on a cyclone? How does it work? Is it worth it?
Yes, I love the AFC. It is great design and is well built.

It looks to be two pieces of SS.
a drip tip top cap with an inner air hole ring with two oblong holes and one small hole,
the shaped body with two oblong air holes and an internal lower ring

When you look at the AFC unit the part above the line where the diagonal slashes end is the drip tip cap and inner air hole ring, this is what spins. Because the lower inner ring of the body attaches to the Cyclone base it does not spin easily, so your air holes stay lined up to the coils. The air flow is easily to adjust but not so easy that it changes once set, mine has never changed accidentally.

It has two oblong openings in the outer body, these are slightly offset to one side. By spinning the top cap and inner ring you can have just the single small hole or one or both of the inner oblong holes lined up with the outside. This makes for a very adjustable single or dual coil setup.

When you look down inside you can see horizontal line where the airflow ring meets the lower ring of the body.

Yes and yes. I really like my Cyclone with AFC. As far as making it "work," simply turn to dial in the amount of air you like. Set up can favor single or dual coils. Admittedly, it doesn't turn that easily, but I actually prefer this over some of the newer atties with air flow control rings, because once you lock in what you like on the Cyclone, it stays in place.

Although there's not a ton of room for creative builds (we're talking a very small atty here obv), it's beautiful to look at, provides all the air you'll ever need with no modifications needed, has no issues with the posts coming loose (see Trident), and the small chamber enhances flavor. All told, this is a great little high end atty.

I also support whatever he wants to call it.
No matter what the name, its ascetically beautiful and also beautiful in its simplicity.

Whatever man.

(Looks at imaginary stabilized burl mod in her hand.) You'll always be Dibby to me.
(This is sung to the tune of Pink Floyd's "Mother" - check the end of the song... for those who are old enough to get it.)

I'm with the girls on this. It's cool, it's catchy, easily identifiable with it's creator, plus we can poke fun at it and be in awe admiration at the same time.

OK.

but I gotta say this . .. .

I very much prefer "dibi" to "dibby". . . . .. only spelling, same to pronounce. (i imagine it's a Hungarian thing.)

Can y'all just do that one little thing for me?

Happy Dibs are known to make more dibiMODs.

(don't even care if you don't like it as much. . . . . .. . do it for me)
