So the fine folks at Reosmods finally have a Grand in stock their site in a finish that appeals to me -- plain black anodized. And Redskymods has some African mahogany cruises available too.

Can you guys PLEASE talk me out of buying either or both of these as beater/backup bottom feeder while I'm waiting for my second dibi?

Umm, no.....don't do it? You'll regret having a great little tank of a mod that you can mistreat and it will still love you?

Did that work?

Awesome stuff!!

I've been lurking here periodically but usually don't stick around long enough to comment because a grown man seen drooling is typically not considered acceptable in polite company.

You are more than welcome to join us! We MANLY MEN here are all secure with our sexuality and have no shame. So drool all you want..... just keep it off the wood.....:lol::lol::lol::lol:

It does look amazing! I'm glad to finally see a fellow greenie. I was beginning to think I would have the only green dibi.:) What wood is that? My green ones are stabilized buckeye burl.

Thank you! I can't tell you how many times I have looked at the pictures of yours. Gorgeous mods.

Mine is stabilized curly maple.

@ValHeli, if you're shipping it to the Philippines, I suggest you use Johnny Air. Standard mail takes anywhere from 4-6 weeks from the US to here, while FedEx, DHL, etc. will charge an arm or a leg on taxes (depending on what Mr. pdib declares the price to be). Not to mention stuff do get lost in PhilPost. I lost some CDs I ordered online last Christmas. It's a good thing the vendor was kind enough to ship a replacement.

Johnny Air takes about 5-6 business days to arrive and I only paid P920 to get my Reo shipped to Megamall for pick-up. :) I've also shipped mobile phones and other merchandise with them before so I know they are reliable.

This seems to be the most colorful batch yet! Those snippets are looking awesome! :)

Hey thanks Kabayan! I'll take note of that next time. I've already started a batch with USA2EVERYWHERE and they're pretty convenient too!

i have grands and cruisers. I'm not able to dissuade you, since i failed myself!

T

I'll 2nd that. I also have both. If I was only going to get one as a backup it would be the Grand for it's go anywhere taking any abuse indestructible nature. If you go with the Cruiser get an HD version with thicker wires and the upgraded 8amp switch.
