If it makes you feel any better he is only taking a 6 month break in between each group to spend time with his family. ;)

He is not! Bite your tongue!

(he gets to see his family throughout the process, his wife and daughter were helping him mispronounce his notes...so no excuses, it's already a family project:))

It may look delicate but it's not - it's circuit board - metal sandwiched in whatever that green stuff (maybe plastic) is :)

I call it the mother (of all) board door.

It's always in use :)

PCBs typically use FR4 (high quality fiberglass) as a substrate. It's really tough stuff and hell on cutting tools.

HA, man I hope not. Anytime I see someone take on a new venture like this, I think wow that's really cool. I should.... ya no I shouldn't. haha My wife would kill me! I'm an IT guy and always seem to be working on something for somebody. I spend too much time playing with wires (coil building) in the little free time I do have she says haha

And then there's this one. Canary Wood, 10Amp fuse (sub-ohms like a monster, ~.3V drop on a .4Ω coil), SS post/juice nippoh, berrylium copper contact leaf.

So far, every bit of vape gear I've bought has been totally tool-like and practical, not to mention basic black and silver. But this...

Want!

The green ones on the first page are are pretty amazing too, and green normally isn't my color.

Just in case people wanted to know, the guy at Burlsource.com Bad Dogs Burl Source - Home Page (where the small block I posted came from) said that he has quite a few blocks that he hasn't put up on the website yet that would be the right size for what we need. He said that he has multiple colors available and that people could call or e-mail him about them and he could help them out if they are having a hard time finding a piece that would work for them.

Also, ArizonaIronWood.com Dyed Blocks (where the big piece is from) still has some on their site that have the correct dimensions as well.

I find that signature line oddly appealing, SFM.

OH, so it's that guy. Well, there's no reason not to do business with him; but, he's the same guy I've been communicating with, and he supposedly was going to email me when he had stuff in stock that wasn't online and would suit our purposes. He hasn't said "boo" to me. Vwls tried to get some material from him too, and although it sounded promising at first, it went nowhere. All I'm saying is, it seems like he says a lot of different stuff; but then nothing happens. No reason not to try; or if one sees something, no reason not to buy. But if you start feeling like you're getting somewhere with him . . . . . .. you might not be.

Thanks for the info, tho, SFM. Thanks for going the extra mile for the crew.

You are in Group 5, Filthy Beast! o_O I am as well =] I must admit that I have several other mod-related purchases in process right now, but this one is the one I am most excited about =] Some pyrex/SS/brass drip tips are in the mail and heading in my direction, but I'll be putting them away for this DIBI. I've just shipped off my gunmetal Vamo to have it converted into a Vamo S model, got the parts from Belgium finally, so those will be retrofitted by a friend :/ I got a new little hybrid in to replace my stealth eGos for work, but have to order flattop instead of buttontop batteries for that little bugger... I can't get the tubes screwed together with the new button top 14500s that I just received :/

Above all, it's the DIBI that I am most curious about =] Light wood, dark wood, red tint, green tint... a couple of months away, but still excited and imagining =]

Lisa~ what's this "new little hybrid" you speaketh of?

I see. Well then, I must have gotten lucky. I know he was waiting for a shipment when I first contacted him and he told me when it was coming in, so I contacted him the next day. He said he has some still available in different colors right now in the right sizes.

Otherwise, check the other place. They have some right now, on the site, no waiting. Lots of different wood types, in natural and dyed.

No reason for folks not to check with him. It's just, I never hear the same thing twice from this fellow. If I were looking for stabilized, I'd definitely follow up on your lead. :)
