Oh, and in other news, my parents have my VV grand and, a cyclone and an RM2 along with another VVG we bought them off the classies. Their going on a week smoke free.

My stepdad (grandpa) really digs my OliveR and woodvil. He wants one / both. Yeah right , like that's gonna happen :).

Anyhow I now have more mods than RBAs. Only two challys and a cyclone.

Looking forward to pdib releasing his new RBA :)

To quote my man @zmauls "I just came" were the first words that went thru my mind when I saw the pix of it that val heli posted :)

thanks guys. so no kick. SuperX, thanks for the kind words. I really just haven't had the time to learn how to do rebuildables and am a little intimidated by it. I'm the least technologically inclined person on the planet (that may not be an exaggeration). Someday I may give this a go...maybe soon!

I think of my mechanical mods as variable resistance devices (rather than vv or vw of regulated mods) and so Rossum is correct and the only way to use them to their full potential is to make your own coils.

So, this intrigues me. what do you mean by resistance?

The Ω the coil or atty measures - like you use cartos that are 1.2, 1.8, 2.0Ω typically. When you make your own coils you try to hit a certain value depending on the vape you like.

On a mech the only thing i can alter is the resistance of the coil, since the battery charges to a certain level and no more and i have no circuitry to boost or lower anything.

Don't be. Get somebody to coil a BF atty for you; a properly set up coil will last many months. All you have to do is pull out the old wick and put in some fresh wicking (cotton or rayon). You do that once or twice a week depending on how much you vape and how nasty the juice is and it takes less than 5 minutes.

I did a search of Todd's videos and never found one with a Reo Grand, that Oliver is going to be a real eye opener I suspect.....which brought me to the next thought, does Rob at Reosmods have an Oliver or is getting one?

Cellucotton is doing well for me also.

Okay, I have tried the rayon and all I can say is this stuff is amazing!! I look at my 3 feet of rayon coils and think "yeah, I need a box of this stuff!!" I've re-wicked everything I have and the flavor and the vapor is just sick....LOVE this stuff!!!

Does it last longer than cotton? I don't use cotton because i can kill a wick in a day. I do have some rayon socks, but that will just give HRH more ammunition!

I wondered about that too. Pdib may be bound to privacy rules though.

Is there a way it could be tested out? Hmmmm.....are there questions I could ask of Rob at Bad Dog before committing? I've got plenty of time....my next run will come up sometime next year. Unless P gets minions......

start by finding out what the moisture content is.

Well, considering many of us already here pretty much believe that once you complete the review, Pdib will be busier than a one legged man in a AYuss kicking contest with all the new folks jumping on the list... You should just jump in for a few more before you post the review :D

I did, I'm on the list a second time, and I haven't even gotten my first one yet :p

According to Cat Stevens, two legged men don't have to work no more. So, doing a little extrapolating and crunching some numbers, I'm gonna guess one legged . . . . . half the work?
