It's his user name or derivitive he cannot use for a product. I am fairly certain that there are different levels of vendors also with different rules.

Regarding OliveR, I was clued into that before it was on here and that is my choice. Peter was hesitant to bring that name here and since it was poo poo'ed he did not give it an official name.

That's because despite our love for all things pdib, the name 'Oliver' is just terrible for many punny reasons as SuperTrunker already pointed out. Besides, only 1 person got an Olivewood dibi, making the rest of us jealous and therefore resistant to paying homage to that guy's dibi, even tho we like him fine:).

So only a handful of people pay attention to the 'OliveR' part, and until pdib clarifies, everyone calls it a dibi (since he did clarify that spelling for us). Besides, since maple is the best wood to use, I think it should be called 'mapleR'. Whatcha think?

Maybe that's why I DO call mine an OliveR. And thank you for liking me fine. :)

I just ordered a v2 clone. just wonder, with those deep wells, is it prone to having extra juice in it or does it drain out?

They're big well's, not sure exactly how big but I'd have to guess about 1-1.5ml and they don't drain. The BF center pin fills the well from the top of the well and only clears the excess on the juice return.

What's really cool is you can do a 10sec squonk until you see juice through the hole and it completely wets the wicks. After that I get about 5 or 6 full lung hits before it starts to loose flavor.

So, I visited Bad Dog Burl Source today to pick up a hunk of wood for my clinical instructor, who likes to work with wood. I figured he deserved something nice for banging his head against a wall for the past five months trying to teach me dermatology. I got him a hunk of Red Mallee Burl. This is what it looks like finished:

Sorry for the small pics, but I'm inept at posting pics. Don't you think this wood make a beautiful mod though. I could buy a chunk big enough to make three or four mods for the price I paid for my stabilized. Shipping would be a biotch.

What do you think P? Wood this wood work out? It's eucalyptus.

I'm not Pdib, but I think it's pretty cool looking material!

woke up with a big woody this morning.. .LOL

Australian Red Mallee:

Size: 3" x 3" x 4 1/8"

described as very dense, hard, strong and durable. Yields a smooth, durable glass-like finish with only light sanding.

I have a small block very similar to this currently keeping Pdib's truck from rolling down the driveway.
