... sooo I need some honest answers, ok?
How much are you guys willing to pay for a brass sleeve? ( I know people call it "copper" but I want to be clear that a true copper sleeve will be too soft ).
Would you guys like the brass sleeve included or as a separate option?
Would you guys like a delrin drip tip included?
I really like hearing all you suggestions and recommendations bec. I would like us to have something we can truly call our own. Please bear in mind though, that when something goes into production, It simply isn't feasible to make something if only a few people are interested in it. So if you all want a "copper" sleeve then comment and LIKE THIS POST:toast:

Copper goes better with my preferences!:)

Yes to the sleeve. Preferably as an add on cause I like the option of changing the look up depending on my mood and/or which dibi I have it on. As far as cost just invoice me. I gave up on saving money on vaping the day I found this thread.[emoji1]

In all seriousness, all I would need right now would be stainless. However, my next dibi may have copper plate, so the option would be nice.

Has the idea of a non bf pin been discussed? With all the copper tubes out there now, having a copper non bf atty option should be considered.

Aluminum alloys differ according to use ( everyone knows this, but it's worth stating ). Because of this, these different types of AL alloys corrode at different rates.

The specific alloy we're concerned with is FeCrAl - Kanthal A1
which does not oxidize at room temp. If this were true then all our rolls of kanthal will be covered in white powder. Kanthal oxidizes at very high temps, and it will take hours for this oxidation to build up and not a few seconds of pulsing.

I'm not quite convinced there's enough heat to form an electrical insulator formed around the coil. But even if it were true, someone has yet to present evidence of residual alumina flaking off on coil builds.
Val I like the way you think. But how would a contact coil not short if no insulator gets created with pulses? Are we failing to achieve proper contact at all?

couple things. One, it's like 18mm OD; so most folks won't want it on a tube. and (B) . . . .. stick a toothpick in it.

I don't want you all to have to pay extra as some kind of relief fund for the tube slurpers.

ADDIT: not to say that slurpin' tube is bad . .. . . or that i think you're all purists . . . .. . puerile, maybe :p
