How much are you guys willing to pay for a brass sleeve? ( I know people call it "copper" but I want to be clear that a true copper sleeve will be too soft ).
Assuming it's copper colored and will patina like the copper ground plate on a dibi, let me think...

One Million Dollars!

Actually, that's still a fair amount of money. So maybe not that much. But if it were available, I'd buy it, and I wouldn't quibble over the price.

Would you guys like the brass sleeve included or as a separate option?
My guess is those with a copper plate will want it included and those with an aluminum plate won't. Since I have one of each, I could go either way.

Would you guys like a delrin drip tip included?
Depends what said delrin drip tip looks like. I'm also in the camp of: That's all I use on a dripper or bottom feeder 'cause metal gets too hot, but unlike the sleeve, it's not like they can't be found anywhere else.

I've given my suggestion on the Delrin DT via PM. Could even go with a copper/naval brass/SS sheath over the Delrin!

I'd like to see the copper/brass or (guessing here on stock sleeve) SS as options for when you purchase the whole atty, and the copper/brass/SS sleeve as a stand alone extra item for those that decide to get it later. If the aforementioned $10-$15 is reasonable, I'd go with that for additional option price as an individual sleeve.

Bryan, thank you for that pm! It certainly turned on the light bulb! I'll do everything I can. I can't make any promises though, but rest assured that if not in this version, it's going to be on the next one. Subject to Pdib's approval of course! :D

I really like hearing all you suggestions and recommendations bec. I would like us to have something we can truly call our own. Please bear in mind though, that when something goes into production, It simply isn't feasible to make something if only a few people are interested in it. So if you all want a "copper" sleeve then comment and LIKE THIS POST:toast:

I don't really care for the "copper" sleeve. But, if both are included I wouldn't complain. LOL. Must have driptip. :D

I'm a fan of simple elegance and minimalistic look. But I am always open to ideas / suggestions. This is what I have so far.

this is funny beeeee-cause . . . .. . drip tips are interchangeable, cheap, ubiquitous, and multiply like rabbits. Not a big issue, I should think. If one is included, great. If not, I think I can find one. Try finding an aftermarket copper (brass) AFC sleeve that fits this atty . . . .. . . . .

g'head . . .. . I'm waiting . . . .. . .

Right. So the priority in our thinking right now should be the one item that we either speak up about, and make a solid decision about now, or never. If I had to make a judgement call, I'd say 30-40% of people would really like a copper (brass) sleeve, and 15% would forego the atty because it doesn't match. 60% the peeps with OliveRdibi mods will have copper (generous est.). So, 1/4 (25%) of 60 is 15. Let's make 15 copper (brass) sleeves for every 100 atties, unless the cost exceeds $20. Make sense?

sorry, just thinking out loud. :D

I think I like something like ↑ that better than "pips". (as long is we're turning this into a public discussion)

btw: I too prefer minimalismisticism; however, I know for a fact that there's "matchy" peeps in our group.

I would definitely be in for a copper sleeve. Even if it were added as an option I don't think you would sell many without it. I get the feeling that this group wants all the "bells and whistles." We sure aren't here for cheap mods.

*whines* But that would make it $2's more!!!! This is where we buy the .25 cents mod, isn't it???
