Speaking of batteries (what, 400,000 posts ago?), I am having trouble logging into rtdvapor. My browser shows 3 instances of my standard password for this type of site, but it's not working. I tried a couple of other passwords I use, but no go. I have requested a password reset via the "Forgot Your Password?" link twice. Both times the reset email took days to get to me and the reset had already expired.

Thanks scandal, I am pretty excited about that myself, it's really a small work of art. I got an order in for a microstick too. The microstick hasn't shipped yet, but I'm on the shipping list, so it should be in a week or so
.BiminiTwist, I just logged into RTDVapor, and got in fine, and went right to my account. Try a different browser?

Tried FireFox, Opera, and Chrome. I regularly clear cache and history, too. It may be in a state of flux right now, what with those PW reset attempts. Just to complicate things, my mail server and Web site are down - for the first time in over a decade!
Oh well, there's still time to get some DIBI batteries. And I still haven't totally decided which ones to get. I do like Orbotronics for my regulated mods and may go that route for this one. But my AWs are showing their age and wanted to get replacements from RTD.
I think I'll just step away from the battery sites for today.

Sheesh! Even my Web host's site is down. I really don't feel like troubleshooting today.

I saw a microstick in the classies & actually wanted one before I saw The Dibi.
Bimini Cricket, I'm sorry to hear you're having server and site probs. I also had a password issue with RTD last nite, which surprised me as I've been shopping there for a long, long time. Unlike you tho, I got the reset and boom, I was in instantly.
Same thing here...go to checkout and it won't allow a sign in to my account. Says email or password are wrong. Hope they get it sorted out quickly.

I did want to mention, per glassgal's question a little while back. On the orbitronics. Meh. I haven't dug through the full specs on every battery they offer; but I can say this. The ones that are 10Amp but have only an 18Amp burst rating are . . . .. weird. You really want to see a burst rating of about 30Amps or more. Whats more, they are straddling a changing of the guard in battery tech and they really don't do anything particularly well. If you want high mAh, and a GOOD battery, look to the Samsungs (INR 2000mAh 20R) or the Sonys (VT4 2100mAh). If you just want a hard hitter with a reliable track record, the AW 1600s are great and the sony vt3 has been around for a while now too.
Well, after seeing others with troubles, I gave it one more try and things are looking up! My site's back up - email server back up - and got a near instant email from RTD. I'm back in.
So now it's just down to decisions, decisions.
ETA: My site's down again, so I just got lucky and checked during the few minutes it was up. Still, I'm in RTDvapor now.

Been using the Sony VT4s in my dibi(s) for a few days. They hit hard (enough) and last a good while and fit well. Ordered two more. Still love my panasonic CGR18650CGs too. I usually don't go below .7~.8Ω
Heya, pdib... you will be posting some type of Dibi FAQ, relating to batteries, those fuse thingies, and the rest? I'm just skimming over all of this discussion in haste. You just tell me what I need for the Dibi and if I don't have it, I buy it, k?
OK, batteries ordered. Next up will be shopping for an atty - this will be my first BF device. I'm thinking AFC Cyclone and un-milled RM2 were the most commonly recommended here. Just wish I could find that gold Cyclone with AFC.

lisa-n-central, I'm pretty sure that Mr. Dib did say that he will be opening a technical thread with ALL the pertinent info. Time hasn't been on his side to do that as of yet, but I have a feeling it will clearly be a case of "no worries"... we'll have it soon enuf.
My thoughts exactly, I really want a gold Cyclone AFC. Here's a link to a cyclone w/ the gold AFC.
I have two silver RM2's, but the unmilled brass RM2 would also look good.

hmmmm, gold plate the copper grounding strip, then a gold button with a gold cyclone.... sounds like a plan!
