I'll try from work tomorrow and order there if I can get through. If I can't get through, I'll PM the owner from the Reo thread here and ask for a couple to be invoiced via paypal or CC. One way or another I'll be ready for the Dibby =]

Yes you will, A+ for stubborn persistence! :thumb:

The IGO-BF is a modified IGO-S , so yes stay away from it and yes the Reomizer you have will work just fine.

@ Pdib - Scandalex brought up a good point regarding posts. Is the DIBBY center well adjustable so we can get the squonk hole opposite the firing button?

this is another reason I prefer the cyclone. I can either screw in / out the center post to have the posts positioned exactly where I want them.

The answer to that is yes, and sort of. Most adjustable and floating center posts either screw up/down or float. This doesn't work when it's also the juice tube nippoh and has the positive contact cantilevered from it (and needing to point in a particular direction). Screwing it in or out will rotate the contact leaf away from where it needs to go. Floating pins rely on direct contact with something inflexible (like a battery trapped in tube vs a rubber hose). Also, since the 510+ post must needs be hollow for BF, there's not much room left for fashioning some elaborate, 2 part stem. The center pin can be adjusted in height with 510 disassembly and the addition of little plastic washers under the head of the positive post. This need only really applies to the RM2; as, with igos and cyclones and such, you can screw in your atty, make a note of it's orientation, and build your coil to face the air hole as you like.

Between the gasket in the 510, your o-ring under the atty, and the bit of adjustibility of the found in the RM2's +post (1/4 turn, 1/2 if you're savvy), it's pretty unlikely you'll need to mess with it. BUT the good news is, with a little effort, you can change the situation in there, and ultimately, get it tweaked to where you like.

I know how it is when a "mission" presents itself; but, please bear in mind, you've got time on your side. It'll be a little while before this becomes an issue for you. I'm sure we won't leave you hanging for an atty.

The connection has timed out

The server at reosmods.com is taking too long to respond.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Everything else is loading fine, videos, movies, I've never had another site NOT load :/ I've been reading different fixes, but nothing is working.

I clicked your link & it opened right up.

If you don't mind spending a little more - the bottom fed Cyclone is mighty purdy.

I'm partial to the gold plated one. (The SS is attractive as well.)

cyclone-afc-gold.jpg

One question- is this top or bottom fed? Every place with this pic says top or nothing- it's just the pic.

.. You can order it w/ the option for either bottom-feed or dripper. There are different caps available for it. The posts on the cyclone is the same as the IGO-S. You won't like it.

here's another example:

If anyone is into the big rda's like the Omega, the Omega clone is good to go with a small hole drilled through the bottom center pin (chrome plated brass). Posts are already drilled for wire trapping but it doesn't look so friendly in that regard and I plan on trapping wires under the screw heads. I upgraded the screws with some ss screws I bought from Amazon; 100 for $5. I had to shorten the middle screw with some vice grips and angle grinder so not to block the feed holes. I think the stock ones may need to be shortened as well.

The messed up center pin is from me trying to unscrew it with a screwdriver in an attempt to disassemble. It just snapped the brass off with little pressure so be careful with that. There's enough meat left for a decent connection though. I wanted to hack up a clone before trying a real unit. Clones are $20 on ebay. Also something to note, smallest bit I had was 1/16th and I'm definitely going 1/32nd next time because its a tad too big.

The real Omega will need the center post drilled/cut for juice feed or the insulator drilled so I'm assuming a complete disassemble of that unit might be needed. Might be able to finesse a small cut off wheel with a dremel to cut a slot in the center post though. I'll have to look into that.

Anyway, just figured I'd share for more bf rda options. :)

What's wrong with the posts on the Igo-S or the Cyclone?? That is, why do people not like it? I'm still trying to figure out what to do about a topper... I currently have 3 drippers, none of which are particularly expensive, I just wanted to try and see what they are like. RBA, Igo-F and an old but pretty neat Ego ESolid (I THINK... am not 100% sure what it is, got it in a trade):

Am thinking that if I don't find any other type that is highly recommended, I'd just try to convert one of the above to a bottom feed (the ERA most likely).

All this is probably premature, since I'm not in the nearest batch for pdib anyway, but I'm definitely interested in what people have to say about their favorite bottom feed RDA!!!

For you all worried about what is best topper for Dibby mod,

so far its split between the smaller chamber ones - cyclone, igoS, and mid size RM2… there are a few other small chamber b/f's out there found in some of the older threads on ecf (ie. drippers for Reo)… and wider diameter drippers experimented on here (iGo W, L, Omega, Immortalizer etc).

Very few b'f drippers are available anywhere. Its just a fact.
For your concerns, you only have a few options, and basically, it all depends on individual preference.

***Of paramount importance is coil building for drippers… see the "micro coil for Reo" threads and know that Dibby's mod is compatible with low resistance and sub ohms coils.

How you build your coil and wick it will determine the "sweet spot" for your rig.
(1.2 ohms to .3 ohms is a large range)
Coil building is a skill set of its own and some of us have taken years to perfect it… SuperX's videos and charts (tutorials) will make it easier for you, but again a good question is " what resistance should i use on my D mod atomizer? (whether its a cyclone, an iGo S, or whatever)

just sayin what i think needs to be said.

*Whats going on here is pretty much cutting edge in b/f atomizer evolution…

why ? since b/fs have been around for years?

I think its because sub ohms vaping has finally hit b/f's (see Dibby mod)… and a lot of new b/f interest is being generated.

I've done Chrome [preferred], FireFox, IE, and Safari :/ It won't load on any browser

It tries to load this HUGE string:

Redirect Notice cd=1&ved=0CCkQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.reosmods.com%2F&ei=6abaUrvFM6vMs QSw0ICABw&usg=AFQjCNG1c07FYjo6a7_5tK5-6qEduEwXFQ&bvm= bv.59568121,d.cWc [added spaces to show string]

and then comes back to say it times out :/

Just typing in reosmods.com doesn't work :/

Try going to Hide My ...! Free Proxy and Privacy Tools - Surf The Web Anonymously and go through them to bring up reosmods.com. I went through a week when my ISP (Comcrap) would not route me to ECF. I had to go through the proxy to get to the forum. I never did figure out what went wrong, it was evidently a routing issue for Comcast.

I'm not really interested in the sub-oHming aspect of the mech... I've got work horses for that if I am so inclined to chase clouds. My sweet spot if 1.6oHms typically, but I have played the edges of 0.9 and 2.1oHms =]

What leads me to sign up for this mech is that it is one of a kind gorgeous =] I've bought everything from eGos to a Provari and they are all sold en masse =] I want this gorgeous mech because mine will be different from everyone elses. Being such, it'll deserve special care, special juice, a special topper, and a special place in my lineup =] This is the first time I've looked at a new piece of vape gear and decided that it would be worth the expenditure to get the best =] The Provari was from the classified section, not so the Dibby LOL

I don't have a problem with the post on the IGO-S. I just didn't like the draw- even with the air hole drilled out.

Exactly!!!!!! Mine will be a one of a kind which excites me to no end. I was simply looking for a BF atty that didn't require all this (IMO) unnecessary work to use.
My time is limited. I take care of my sick mother so the last thing I plan on doing is modding anything.

me too; i don't know DIY from a hole in the ground; other than making coils for various atomizers, and thats taken me a couple of years.

give me point-and-shoot sub ohms … and thats what DIbby does.

I lurk the DIY b/f atomizer posts just because i'm curious to see what good new atomizer designs for sub ohm b/f vaping will be coming through from the makers, for sale…
