btw: is your wife seeing the error of her ways yet? Not allowed to buy a mod; but you'll end up buying 2K in tools to make yer own.

HAH! that'll teach her!

Somehow the tools are better in her books. I guess because they can be used for any project.

But this drill press is just a bench top from a pawn shop... $70 bucks.

I do keep bringing it up from time to time. Eventually I'll get the go ahead and get me a real one but in the meantime...

Ain't nothin' wrong with getting tools. She's right too.

Btw: since we're exactly on this topic now . . . . .

Paprika is a necessity, true; but the best Gulyàs Leves is cooked in a cast iron pot hung from a tripod over a smokey fire.

Liquid smoke isn't quite the same is it? Other than when there is 3 feet of snow on your outdoor cooking rig... Mmmm I can smell the wood smoke now... and it stains your hands if you get any on ya... Just saying. LOL. 8-o

The air holes are offset to one side, study how they line up to the posts and build your coils to be in front of them. My coils end being in V like config.

Wasn't it mentioned somewhere (here) that if you run the bottom of the top cap over some 220 grit in a circular fashion that will help if it's not lining up properly? Has anyone done this or needed to?

That would be for a top cap that screws on like the rm2. Filthy was talking about how the air holes in the cyclone are off set (not directly across from each other). You can end up putting the cap on "backwards" due to where the posts and coils are located (one post in the center....and one to the side). A cap rotated 180 degrees backwards would make the holes not line up properly.

Well then... that makes total sense then, I have not seen the Cyclone in person so I was just not getting it  Now I do. I wonder why it was designed that way? Interesting? I wanted it for the option of Dual coil bottom feed.. as opposed to single, it is my understanding that this atty is capable of this? Correct? The pictures on the website leave a bit to be desired (a lot actually)...

I just pulled the trigger on a Cyclone/AFC BF from Indy Vape Shop to join her sister the RM2 at home. Please tell me how much I will love it and if any tweaks are necessary to make her performance optimum... I so DO really like the styling!! :hubba:

I think you will like the AFC cyclone. I have really been thoroughly enjoying my dual coil Nichrome setup. I went with 26g Nichrome 80, 12 wraps on a 1/16th bit to completely fill the space in front of the air slits and run them wide open. Came out @ .67Ω. This setup seems to make it all it can be. It's been my ADV. I also tried it with smaller coils and closing up the air slits to match the coil size and that works pretty well also. I really like the flavor and the build quality makes it worth the money.

It drains batteries pretty quick in this configuration. My 007 (OliveR) drives it hard and I'm quite spoiled with awesome flavor and monster clouds.

I can't wait for Turbocad6 to work out the logistics on an adjustable chamber reducer to make it even better.
