My A7s (i have a few) came as bottom feeders - there are air holes above the 510 threading and none in the topcap. They were some of the first RBAs i used on bottom fed mods.

You can also sometimes negate that wobbly centre pin by screwing it in clockwise as far as it'll go. I always did that and never had any issues with it.

My RM2s superceded them, and for fun yesterday i whacked a ropey old 26g dual coil macro setup in my igo-w4 to try! Not baaaad! 0.4Ω.
Air holes need to be bigger though.

i was perusing the New Members sub/f and found talk about nano coil, and someone/s who wrap 30g or even 28g wire around a 28g wire.

minimal ID, max length of coil… the put the cotton under of course.

here's a link to a pic… fwiw… never seen this before.
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/535358-nano-coil-2.html#post12497737

under that post is a twisted 28g around a sewing pin for ID….

Sounds like a Clapton coil variation.

My oh my how nothing is new under the sun, I did this during my search for magic and I wasn't the first.
I saw it somewhere in old forum posts when I was collection info.

As an aside - this is how to really irritate maths undergraduates - play them at chess.

I played a move, and Fred would, 20 mins later after intently studying the board, eventually make one - that is how the game works! So - i'd make another and Fred would take another 20 mins- by which time i have won 3 games of foosball/table football and had 2 beers.

I'd make another... and so on. Now, i was handy at chess anyway, but that wasn't what ...... Fred off - what really got to him was that at move 18, i was so drunk i could no longer feel my legs and decided to resign and go to sleep and i resigned the game saying "with best play - you have me beaten in a pawn ending on move 35"

At 8am the next morning, Fred was trying to calculate how i knew and man he looked rough!

You need to give up chess and play go instead. Way better strategy game. I was a chess fan for years till I found go. Won't touch a chessboard now.

yeah but if you use an oring on the 510 that seals off the airflow, no?
i suppose so - i never used o-rings with any atties except the RM2 to align the top cap airhole to the coil.

Even my Dibi just runs a plain atty on it as have all my Reos. I have read all the stuff about leaking, but never found it to be an issue.

Yes, but the point was to fit a night of drinking beer with the boys in! As well as keeping Fred happy! That's strategy ;)

Oh, good! Tech. talk. My favorite! Here's a question I've had pop up in my brain today; are we using VG & PG solely for the "looks" (of steam) and feel, maybe? Does/would water work as well re: nic. delivery? If so, I might try 1/4 H2O and then maybe 1/2, just cause I'm curious. It certainly would be ideal for the stealth occasions. I remember, tho, I once had this particular e-liquid paired with this one atomizer, and I got almost zero visible steam on the exhale. It was markedly less satisfying.

I once vaped 100% vg with 0 nic. The nice white clouds were visually satisfying but there was no throat hit at all. Like vaping air until the exhale. Was not satisfying at all (may have something to do with the 0 nic).

Something in my brain remembers also vaping 100% pg (don't remember ordering it though). Clouds were remarkably thin. Great stealth vape. Felt like vaping, nice Th, but without the visual clouds on exhale it was also strangely dissatisfying.

100% VG for this monkey. I switch between NEMP and unflavored based on my mood. Pg (even in low amounts) causes me excruciating canker sores inside my mouth if i use it for more than a day.

100%vg also seems to last longer. Like it takes less juice to vaporize than pg/vg blend.

Is my ancient OliveR done yet? I'm patiently waiting.

Also, has anyone heard from Jas? I fear life has swallowed him (and his micro gens). Hope all is well on your end if you see this brother!

also the a6s is better than the a7, the a6s is already drilled for bf, again intended as air but once you do use it as bf air no longer can go there so you would need to drill a hole in the side of the cap still for airflow but that's all you have to do to use the a6s... not a spectacular atty but not horrible either I guess

A7 nano coil, predrilled (now my A6 and A7s are different from the ones you buy in the stores... for several reasons):

Thought I'd try the twisted wires AND nano coils at the same time. This coil was made on a needle, and that's a A7.

My head to head A7 vs Spheroid serial #2366 (for my Microstick that I got today) comparison. Eh... A7 smaller, sexier, just as well made, same caliber vape:
DSC00467800x531_zps720ec973.jpg

Note: Spheroid was 4x harder to build... those HORRIBLE little thumbscrews took forever to adjust so the wire would STAY pinched. Grrr.

My A6 nano coil built on the Woodvil (needle size):
DSC00457800x531_zpsb73bff9e.jpg

But... neither of my RBA are 'stock'. I'm sending some to Pdib today... he can test. These can beat the pants off of any RBA out there pricewise. I bought the GP Spheroid so I'd know for sure... just hate to wonder. Yep, similar quality, vape and function (for bottom feeding... for holding tank, Spheroid holds more juice than mine). This based on the metal quality and finish of the GP Spheroid, I don't know if the other RBA are better finished than the $140 Spheroid.

Visual comparison of internals:

Size (tape on Spheroid was so my Microstick doesn't scratch it up like people complained about- microstick is way harder than most stainless):

Pdib was looking for a bottom feeder option... well, he's got one now:).

You know what I don't like about the A7? -And take this with a big heaping of salt since I've never owned one- that juice feed means no drainage. If that could be cut down to the deck that would be awesome

mm true.. but it shouldn't be a problem hitting the coil with juice and maybe packing out a bit of the well with cotton on top maybe.. haahahaa I dunno I haven't even got mine yet and already im tinkering :D
