I received the LGDBHE21865 yesterday and gave it a full charge last night. Will need to get a dozen or so cycles on it for full testing, but so far antidotal evidence is good. Been vaping on it for 6-1/2 hours (about 2ml) at .7 ohms in OliveR and it hasn't dropped off the crest yet. Seems to hold higher initial voltage longer than the SX30 and that is without any cycles on it. It might just hold higher voltage throughout it's curve. I will see when it starts taking a dive. Might be able to put that turn back on back to .8 ohm if it holds this kind of voltage till the dive.

As the title says, I have been Dibized! My OliverR arrived and it is so beautiful it knocks your socks off. In case you forgot from the preview, this is the Ambrosia Maple. The workmanship on this mod is beyond belief.

If you look at the first two posts, you can see the hole left by the Ambrosia Beetle. This is how the wood gets its name. However, in my case, this is the black hole I will enter as I enjoy my vape! PDIB did wonders capturing this as well! The finish feels like satin. So smooth and pleasant hand feel. At the moment that is a Glass drip tip. I was sent extra wood so will be crafting a new drip tip to match.

Sigh.

The right piece of stabilized in the right size has to be out there somewhere:(

I'm so happy for everyone - your Dibis look amazing.

Lol. I feel your pain. Every pic makes me more impatient and want mine more. Run 7 can't come fast enough. May have to break down and snag a Reo to hold me over.

I'm trying a couple of these soon… how is the length on these?

I was with you on the REO bit while waiting... I couldn't wait... sooo... I got a modded one from Mr. pDib himself complete with the fuse and switch mods :) You could always send him a PM and see if he has anything else up his sleeve while you wait?... I am in run 4... sooooo waittttting patientttttly... ok breathe... Ahhh...

Soon is never really soon enough is it? Anyway rocking my REO with a milled RM2 running a .7 Munday's Magic coil on some DIY Van Cus. Sooo Goood! Performance wise, where the OliveR will perform AND be a functional work of art... not the the REO isn't? it's just that wood vs. metal, the wood wins hands down EVERY time... IMHO ;)

I am reserving my Cyclone w/AFC for the OliveR (when available)... two virgins learning the ins and outs of each other. What could be better? Oh... and I am the teacher... big time lol!!!!! Queue the music... bomchica bow wow....

Props to ukeman for the heads-up!!!

Here is a place for peeps to look for blocks: Results for Knife Blocks Mr. Faron Moore... Super nice Gentleman and would work with you if you are set on a particular species and/or dye color... I got a piece of dyed stabilized into Peters hands from him in box elder burl/blue... not as dark as SFM's at least I'm hoping that it will finish lighter blue than that? SFM was that a purple to begin with? Really dark blue almost Royal blue vs. teal or some such?

Ooohh! I just ordered a couple of pieces from there. Not sure whether Peter will be able to make an OliveR from them -- in fact I'm not sure I want an OliveR made from dyed, stabilized wood rather than a more natural wood, but I can always make something simple from them, like a mod or atty stand.
