Here is a place for peeps to look for blocks: Results for Knife Blocks Mr. Faron Moore... Super nice Gentleman and would work with you if you are set on a particular species and/or dye color... I got a piece of dyed stabilized into Peters hands from him in box elder burl/blue... not as dark as SFM's at least I'm hoping that it will finish lighter blue than that? SFM was that a purple to begin with? Really dark blue almost Royal blue vs. teal or some such?

It was a DARK blue wood. There was no indication of purple or Teal in it.

Yours came out so dark ... but in your pix, it looks way lighter. So it darkened up from the original??

Mine's pretty dark too, and I thought they were the same color, but I think mine's got more purple in it. Wonder if mine will be as dark as yours??

This is mine in very heavy shadow (am doing C first):

This is more lit up:

I don't think there's black in mine... did yours start out with black??

Also, what did you do with the small piece that was more like mine (cut off in the above pix)? Why didn't you make that first?

HEY, Meenie, where the Dibicon level? :p

Oh man, I've been waiting for quite a while to say that, but forgot.

DIBICON 1 SET - DIBI vape IMMINENT!!!

But . . . I had to run out of the house for a bit. I was thinking I would get back way before the mailman arrives, but noooooooo. He came early today - of all days in the year - and left a notice on the door. Worse yet, you DID pay for no sig. Arrrrrgh!

Ah well, out to the post office tomorrow.

Dibi vape is still imminent. Maintain DIBICON 1!

As the title says, I have been Dibized! My OliverR arrived and it is so beautiful it knocks your socks off. In case you forgot from the preview, this is the Ambrosia Maple. The workmanship on this mod is beyond belief.

If you look at the first two posts, you can see the hole left by the Ambrosia Beetle. This is how the wood gets its name. However, in my case, this is the black hole I will enter as I enjoy my vape! PDIB did wonders capturing this as well! The finish feels like satin. So smooth and pleasant hand feel. At the moment that is a Glass drip tip. I was sent extra wood so will be crafting a new drip tip to match.

Beauty!

And I see a virtual dagger between pics 2 & 3.

ETA: And it could use some new scales - maybe in a dyed blue.

Ooohh! I just ordered a couple of pieces from there. Not sure whether Peter will be able to make an OliveR from them -- in fact I'm not sure I want an OliveR made from dyed, stabilized wood rather than a more natural wood, but I can always make something simple from them, like a mod or atty stand.

Or maybe even knife scales. I do have an old beater that could use a face handle lift.

She's here!

Thanks so much mr dibi!

Rm2 doesn't get here till Saturday.. So can't use it "for real" till then.. But the IGO L is working fantastic :p

Few questions..

My AW IMR 18650
battery "wiggles" around, even with the O ring in place.. Is this normal? Or should I add the thicker of the two ?

It's relatively easy to push the bottom cap out when hitting the fire button.. Should I stop being so manly with it..?? Or?

And last but not least..

Best reccomended microcoil build (with cotton) for the RM2 on this beauty??

They come with literature now do they? Well well.

I use the fattest o-ring on mine and i let the bottom plate set the level of the battery when i install it, i.e. i have the battery hanging out of the bottom and i just push it in with the bottom plate.

I stacked the washers under my firing button to get it to where i like the "throw" of the button, in other words, so you don't have to press the button 1/2 an inch before the mod fires!

Microcoils - you're on your own!
