I haven't gotten any official readings, but my new vtc5's are the first batteries to last me a full 24hrs without having to swap out.

That's 24 hours of vaping or 24 hours say 6 am to 6 am before swapping out. With some sleep somewhere in there?

Lol what Val? I don't think that's a particularly dumb question haha. I was looking for clarification. 24 hours of vaping would probably mean about 48 hours of real time use, while a day's use and than swap out is wholly different situation. I myself get 6 am to 6 am on my LG's... But I like to sleep occasionally lmao

Ok, I thought you were kidding. Here's a more serious answer:

Let's say for the sake of easy math ( coz I hate math ), I'm vaping a 1Ω coil on a fresh batt of 4.2V That gives us 4.2 amps

the VTC5 has a capacity of 2.6 amps (2600 mah)

To figure out consumption simply 2.6 / 4.2 = .62

.62 x 60 min. = 37 min. = 2,220 seconds

Personally, I do about 5 sec puffs which gives me 444 total puffs out of the VTC5

(considering real life factors that affect battery life, the total would be much less)

I've had both the Samsung and LG batteries for about a week. They are very similar to me at 0.6ohm with a slight edge to the LG. Just my gut feeling on that. How long they last? Both go a whole day and I don't think I could tell in a blind test. Maybe Mundy can bring some numbers at some point, but until then I'd say the Samsung is the best economical choice.

HRH has an eVic that counts all that stuff, which would be all well and good except that it also has some stupid cutoff, so you don't OD on nic (pfft) which annoyed the hell out of me, since i could never get a decent vape off the thing before it started blinking.

That device and ones like are why i like mechs; all i need is a big battery, a switch and an atty and i'll decide what constitutes "enough".

When discussing batteries, everything depends on how much you vape and and at what power level. I'm rarely much above 12 watts, but I don't think there's an 18650 made that would last me a whole day (particularly in a mech mod) if I were using just one mod. Clearly some people vape more than others. Thus, the number of hours a battery lasts for particular person is probably not a very good way to describe a battery's capacity. I'd like to suggest that the number of milliliters of juice you can actually turn into vapor on a single charge would be a far better way do that. ;)

Too brainy. Didn't read
Lol.
I really just meant in general, as a ballpark, does the dude swap out batteries every two days? One day? I know everyone vapes differently, at different ohms, just looking for a guesstimate lol

Because for me, my 1600s got a little anemic by 8 pm,
And my LGS last til the next morning, and still "feel" strong to me.

And I know there's a thousand mah difference, but I also know my LG's are JUST hitting 3.7 that next morning. If I find out that he doesn't swap til day two I might give those batteries a try. Otherwise I'm quite happy with my LG's, and quite glad I purchased them.

:D

Sheesh, come into a modders forum and suddenly everyone gets all TECHNICAL
Lmao

( seriously though, thanks for the calculations <3, they're totally interesting , especially when you look at how long it lasts on a continuous discharge, instead of the on/ off that we do here )

While the math is OK it's not applicable. The mah rating is down to 2.5 volts and we stop at 3.7 ish. What we need is curves for the batteries tested at different amp loads.

I have in my desk at work enough gear to test, make coils, power and charge batteries as well as noalox anything i carry with me. It's more an insurance policy if HRH kicks me out rather than worrying about a mod/atty failing.

It has been useful to the Ego users at work more than it has for me, but i was always told "backups for backups", despite never needing them.

Lets say 6am to midnight MON of pretty steady all day in the reo. Val, I have an xstar xp4. I usually charge at .5 amps so it takes a bit to charge them.

Thankee sai. Sounds like, conjecturally, the difference would be negligible for me

However. How much you paying for them?and where?
