Got the new spring and brass screws today. It may be my imagination (but I don't think so), but Olivia does seem to be hitting better. Not a lot, but better.

I am one of the people that use the set screw. Before installing it, I had to fiddle with Olivia a lot to get her to fire. It was like - fire, fire, fire, mis-fire...fiddle...fiddle...fire, fire, mis-fire...etc. With the set screw in there, Olivia is fiddle-free.

Oh, and that isn't my wood either, but if it isn't claimed by the time round 8 comes around, you can use it for my OliveR #2.

I have made my 13 wrap 28 gauge micro coil and put it in a Taifun GT with a cotton wick. It meters out to 1.5 ohms, funny thing though back a year or so ago that was a LR , now it's a HR coil but Ohm's law never changed????

BTW Pdib, I don't know how you keep track of whose block it is, but I read in the knife forums that bic wite-out correction fluid does not affect the wood.
