supertrunker sent me a bunch of these little rivet-snapple-dodads. I epoxied it on after drilling a little hole for it's stem. (trunks just pulls the stem out)

obviously, I filed/sanded down the button head to compensate for the thickness of the added part.

I drilled a hole into the button and used a firing pin from an evod head. We shall see how this holds up. .13 ohm is just ridiculous, imo. .4-.7 is more than sufficient for me, but I drip 18 mg. He vapes 6, which for me, in my journey is just a waste of time, but to each their own. Any who Mr. Bee, you are the man, err bee!!

Thanks Gigi! I also got the cheetah one ( stabilized maple ) thanks to yours and bee's recommendation! :toast:

.. on the walnut though, I'm not too sure it would take colors well considering it's already dark?

How about this one? Rare walnut crotchwood, curly, figured, kiln dried, and you can send it to dye peacock colors and make 6 dibis so you can stop stressing about wood:). And right now only $7:).

Did you ditch the cheetah one???

This would've been nice if it weren't for the (real) dark area. I imagine one side of the mod would look dirty.

Wow... that's a tough one... it might turn out looking like a supernova... that 'burst' is stunning looking as it is... but really hard to guess how it would take dye if you chose to dye it...

If it helps, my 'darker' areas on the ends of my blue one look like this:

and unpolished face:

The violet one has a weak spot on the side (very thin):

and the unpolished back, so you can see how the dye can be uneven depending on wood density:

Well... you can tell by the face too... this seems to be violet and green?

Both blocks are loaded with teeny 'seeds', but they are different seeds, because they are completely different wood (big leaf maple vs box elder burl):).
