Does it last longer than cotton? I don't use cotton because i can kill a wick in a day. I do have some rayon socks, but that will just give HRH more ammunition!

I swap wicks daily anyway. I'm curious as to how it compares to the KGD cotton though. That's been my go to wick since super gave me a sample.

Don't be intimidated. I'm 66 and had shaky hands and poor eyesight and I was very very intimidated, but I found out with just a little practice I can do this easily. I started out using a jig but now and making twisted coils and wrapping them by hand, it really is easy, just takes a little practice and an ohm reader to check your resistance. :)

thanks guys. so no kick. SuperX, thanks for the kind words. I really just haven't had the time to learn how to do rebuildables and am a little intimidated by it. I'm the least technologically inclined person on the planet (that may not be an exaggeration). Someday I may give this a go...maybe soon!

With my first RDA someone sent me a few coils so I just had to put it in and wick it, with practice dry burning the coil and replacing wicks I got comfortable with that before I tried to wrap my first coil. I'm sure someone would be happy to send you a few coils to get started with. :)

Don't be. Get somebody to coil a BF atty for you; a properly set up coil will last many months. All you have to do is pull out the old wick and put in some fresh wicking (cotton or rayon). You do that once or twice a week depending on how much you vape and how nasty the juice is and it takes less than 5 minutes.

For my PT I use most of the day I have to replace a cotton wick every tank. Right now I'm on tank four and this stuff does not stop...it's amazing!!

I was sent some Cellucotton by another ECF member and I am quite happy with it. I have not had it long enough to attest to long term usage, but I cannot discern any taste from it with my fruity flavors. It seems to wick faster than KGD.

Much better at wicking than even KGD and much longer lasting!

I'll have to look into eucalyptus. Is it burl? (sure looks like it). Is it stabilized (not, too big)
Acutally, our friend M.Far. knows a thing or two. He might chime in.
Red Mallee is one of about 700 different varieties of Eucalyptus native to Australia.
The difficult thing with any eucalyptus is getting it to dry without a gazillion cracks. But if you can find a good dry piece under 12% moisture content that is not cracked up, it is beautiful wood.

I did a search of Todd's videos and never found one with a Reo Grand

Done a few squonkers but I bought the dibi for me first and review 2nd, never fancied the Reo as asthetically just doesn't appeal to me.

Yeah I'm a weirdo in a shed, shoot me :D
