Hey Fog,
I`ve used it a couple weeks with a 14500 mod with 2mm wick and two coils made out of 1.5 premade wire one above the other. The wicks from the bottom coil ran down the channels, the other I cut on the side of the cup. So this gave me 0.8 ohm. You do have to sacrifice some battery life for this higher power. A bit strange I never had any dry hits. I did open the JC 4-5 full turns. What kind of juice do you use? Better not go over 50% VG.

With the Penelope V2...I must admit, that I have not been using it. :?: With the current mod that I use, I have been using the Penelope V1 instead.

The V2 has the center pin sticking really far out. Even with the brass pin all the way screwed in the center pin stick out too much. So I can't screw the V2 all the way down on my mod. I can use the V2 only if I screw it half way down to the mod. But then it will be loose on the mod, and I like everything to be tightened secure. If I screw the V2 all the way down on my (non GG) mod, then the V2 will push the center post down on my mod and possibly break it.

I put a bigger bottom O ring on my V1 and it works perfect on my mod without pushing the center pin on my mod down. I tried the same thing with the V2 and the brass post still sticks out too much...enough to make me uncomfortable to use it with my mod.

Anyways, I am saving the V2 for Proteus, and hopefully we wont have this problem.

I have a Mech Mod that the V2 works good on. But I don't use that mod much, so the V2 hasn't seen much action.

you have something wrong for sure. This shouldn't happen. Can you post some pictures?

Hmmm....Now that I think about it. When I first got the V2, I broke the brass pin off and had to get brass pin replacements. I think maybe there is still part of the broken part still stuck in the post. I can still screw on the new brass pin, but maybe it doesn't screw on all the way because the broken piece is still in there. Bummer.

AHA!!!:) Thank You guys for your input...of saying it doesn't sound normal. Which made me think.

I could look down the center tube of the V2 when taken apart. The tube is hollow, and looks like nothing is there. But I used a small drill bit and was able to take out a small piece of broken threaded brass that was stuck in there. About a mm wide.

Now the new pin can screw all the way down. No need for pics now.

It's little things like this that matter, and why I'm part of the GG family. Thanks for your help guys.

an expected review from the great Scott!
Thank you very much buddy, I am always amazed by your work.
Be sure that I dont disagree with you about NR wire. I just say that both options have advantages and disadvantages.
Thanks again my UK friend
