Back in again. Just updated.

I have to use my phone as a hotspot so I probably won't post again until after I'm released again. Sheesh. Im a hot mess!!!!

Only ECF is affected. For some reason (take a guess why) I can get on all other websites/forums, just not this one, through the hospital wifi.

Bad enough that they lump vaping in with smoking on the facility ban, but, uh, banning even reading about it?!?!

I used to think we lived in a free country.
It is now only free if one follows the line like good little robots.

The vaping battle has really opened my eyes to just how bad it has
become here in the US and around the world.

I'm so sorry this is happening to you. I hope you're out again very soon.

Hospitals seem to think they're gods now. About a year ago ours decided no one was allowed to smoke or vape on their property. Their security guards go around and bang on car windows and demand the occupant(s) stop smoking or vaping. Hospitals are naturally stress-free zones. Who would want to or need to smoke there? Nobody's child, spouse, parent, or other relation might be in a life-or-death situation there. (Earlier this year this hospital almost let me bleed to death after an outpatient procedure and it took months to recover. Certainly I feel no stress having to go back there. o_O) Patients have retaliated by dumping their ashtrays in the parking lot.

The hospital is blocking you from ECF? I thought you were paying them, not the other way around. Where the hell do they get off censoring what websites their patients can visit? I wouldn't want to be in a room with someone watching porn with the volume tuned up but ECF has no volume. Do they also monitor which religious sites they can visit or what news channels they view? :-x Rant over.

Hope you get out of there pronto!

Nope, NEVER any stress at a hospital!!

Years, back, when still a smoker, I was waiting in the car while SO was in for a routine appointment. Smoking and reading. Rent-a-cop does approach, tells me I can't smoke on their property. Uh, ok.

Still smoking, I get out, take three steps to the PUBLIC sidewalk, and blow smoke at him. He wasn't happy.

Now, I just stealth vape :)

Robin's getting the surgery but it's complicated. Here's her post Heather's Heavenly Vapes - THE BIG THREAD (Part 6) Here's to it being 100% successful! :toast:

At this point she's probably sic of colorful flowers in her room so I've ordered something colorful and entertaining for her. :)

Yes, I am getting the surgery. I just have to make sure I stay healthy before hand. Lots of protein drinks and working my way up to soft foods. Because of the blockages and not being able to eat, I dropped to 121lbs. On my 5'6" frame... well not a real good thing BUT it's not too awful.

Good news is, they gave me this thing to exercise my lungs in prep for it....oh HECK yeah!!! One line from the top!!! My lung function is phenomenal! All thanks to vaping no doubt!!!! BWAHAHAHAHA:laugh:

I have to think that all the support and prayers have gotten me to this point. For that I am truly grateful.

Is it one of those plastic tubes that you blow into to gauge lung capacity? If so, I have one of those around here somewhere. I'll have to find it and see how much I've improved. Pretty sure you'd beat me me hands down.

Knock this thing out of the park!Staying right there being optimistic with you!

BTW I am hearting Robino1, not the squirrel. Those things look colorful And terrifying. I think we all know my thoughts on the matter, so.... :)

Anna

No, I have to suck in air and keep the little ball thingy in between these two lines.

It's more to exercise the lungs in prep for a long surgery. I'll probably be using it after the NG tube comes out. That part I'm not looking forward to. Ugh. But if the results are what I'm wanting.... worth every bit of discomfort. ;)

Ok, I'm getting this thread a bit off topic... whoooops!

Back to your regularly scheduled programming!
