I wish I weren't such a slow talker, I even edited out 40 seconds of pauses, it's still really long.

You did well but you will only learn by doing. I have a hell of a lot of admiration for you (except when you get frustrated and sound like you're gonna endorse a He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named candidate). Seriously, I admire and respect the hell out of you. You are intelligent, well spoken and level headed (except once . No, not letting go of that).
That video will get through to more people than some slick production ever will. You done good, Son. Please do let me know when you are running for office because I want to stump for you, unless you went to the Dark Side, of course.

That's kind of why I wanted to do this, this whole thing, the petition and the video. Yes, we need people who know the ropes, know who to talk to and how to organize, but we can all help. We can all play a part, because it's important to all of us.
I might pay attention when Phil, or Rip, or Bill says something, but my non-vaping Aunt is much more likely to listen and respond to me. If every American who has a smoking family member were on our side, we'd be unstoppable.
Les, freakin' stop underestimating yourself. You already are a powerful person. Intelligent, well spoken, informed, amiable. You've already made a difference, don't stop at your aunt, though I'm sure she is a lovely person. You instinctively do the right thing without having to be told to do so (except about He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named).
It will be interesting to see how many come aboard in three months when they "suddenly" come around. Those that aren't listening now won't until the hammer falls and they are caught short. It is heartening to see how many people have joined ECF recently to express their shock and outrage. Some people actually do watch/read the news.
What's left of our dog needs a walk now to keep his muscle strength up. He has surgery on Monday. I'll check in when we get back.

I wish part of the testimonial campaign had been pushing people to share them with everyone. Gathering them is great, but the FDA doesn't care about our personal stories.
As for The Rump... that may have been an empty threat. We'll see, I have to figure out how to balance my social liberalism with politicians who couldn't care less about us if they tried.

This is definitely something that can be shown to non vapers and loved ones without scaring the crap out of them.
