I have signed the petition.
I am wondering though... Is there a possible NEGATIVE to creating a petition like this?
The only negative I can see is if we don't get to 25,000 signatures.
Then it might send the message that either they aren't enough of us, or we don't care enough.

GOOD NEWS PEOPLE :)

I noticed there are two almost identical threads about this petition here... so I will post this in both :)
This is NEWS :)

In just the last 2 days, I have been going all around the internet to the forums I belong to:
relationship forums, computer and technical forums, and even gaming forums.
I have also been going to every video I can find on Youtube (mostly in rebuttal to BS E-Cig videos), and
on Facebook, Twitter, and other places... posting the link and seeking help on the petition.

I also wrote a quick Tweet to Fox News' John Stossel who wrote the article about the FDA in 2011, seeking
his help on possibly writing another article or news piece.. I simply asked them to pass on that:
"The FDA is at it again! Attacking E-Cigs... Can you help?"

:)

The other day, the petition was still needing around 4160 signatures... and I noticed it had slowed
way down from what it was doing a week ago

As of just a few minutes ago, it only needs 3295.

That is over 865 signatures in a day and a half :)

Was up until 4 am last night and it is 3:30 am now so.....

I would say my Promoting of the Petition has paid off some :)

A lot of people have NO idea this is happening... as one comment to my posting states:

this Info is very useful to my self. ecig help alot of my friends and some family stop smoking. I dont see why they would try to ban this. Im guessing the cig kings have a problem with it. SMH

I explained a little about the why's - Big Pharms and the NRT's the FDA stands to lose on... but I also
directed them to seek out more information here at ECF and from CASAA.

I will be doing this to any and all E-Cig videos I see on youtube and I will also continue going
to other forums promoting this issue to get signatures.

Hopefully ,I can help push it well over the 25,000 necessary :)

UPDATE

In just the short time it took me to write this... the numbers went from 3295 to 3286
and by the time I refreshed the browser, 3 more had signed it!

This is Great :)

haha - Yeah, there sure are enough Waco petitions on there... the Death Star was a
good laugh though

Honestly, they should be able to deny petitions like that... but... then you would have
whining about "Right to create stupidity petitions"... lol
I don't know why they would bump it up to that anyway because it is hard enough to get
25K let alone 100K signatures -- I think they are doing it to stop so many petitions from
being made or even getting noticed.

They sure better put a longer time limit on them then because it would be nearly impossible
to get 100K in just a couple months with the way people are these days with how well they
Stick Together on stuff... lol

Matter of fact, right now, I think this petition is one of the few that has actually gotten near
the required signatures on it. Most are only in the low hundreds or low thousands and only have
a couple days left to them.

Only 2,093 left to go! :)
