shockingly yes, they think that taste good, i have had lets say marlboro or usa mix form over 50 places form china, not exagaerating, and out of 40 usa mix about 30 would make any man gag, and when you ask them to vape it in front of capera they do and really seem to like it, thats why i always said many place there have nasty flavoring but there BASE AND NIC when good is second to none.

also taste bud truly vary form country to country, in india they love curry but if oyu never had it before it might shock you or disgust you or you might love it, in china they eat buygs in that cutlure, so sometimes i really think they think the nasty flavored ojuice is actually tasty to them. lol

Bad, I have to say that the phoenix 3.3 is great. I m on my 2nd refill, and it's working like a champ. Running it under the hot water really did the trick of getting that nasty oil taste away. I do have a ? about the 1.8 phoenix, is it the same as the 3.3?, just holds less liquid? also, would I be able to slide a ego cone over it? if not, will you have sleeves for it anytime soon? And if that nasty taste is there, will I be able to take it apart like the tank? I love this tank because of the vapor, and i can really taste my juice.

the taste will not be there becuase they will arrive dry 100%, you can use a ego sleeve on the xl but with mini drip tip or the mouth peace it comes with. and yes its same as the xl but wait till lords video tomorow becuase this cool little mod lets your crank it up and turn the 3ml into a cool beast

Ok great! I just want to get the XL for I can swap it back and fourth with the tank. i ll keep an eye out tomorrow for the video. So far, the tank has changed my experience about vaping, (only vaping for 2 months) for the better!! I love this thing.

I am sorry to anounce that on only day 3 my Phoenix 3.3ml is dead. It made it through 4 refills without any significant change in flavor or vapor. I went to take a toot this morning and nothing. Switched to my spare eGo battery and still nothing. I tought it might not be getting a connection because it was completely dead. Pulled connection out and still nothing. Will take it apart later and see if I can figure out what is wrong with it and will post if I figure something out.

Has anyone else had theirs just quit working like this. I am hopeing it is an easy fix because I was going to order a few more. Paired with the eGo-T battery it is the perfect setup for me to carry to work..

I bought 3 of these and the one I am using I love It, my problem I have ego batt's 2 of them. They are old so I wanted to use it on one of my other mods. I have the 510 ego adaptor that I bought and used with my stardust and it worked fine. My Phonix works fine on ego batt, but does not work with the adaptor on the ego or one of my other mod's. My egos are ready for the trash and I want to use this now because I love it. Can some one help.

i did something stupid, and it was a lesson learned. When I first got my tank, I reported I had a nasty oil taste, but thanks to Badkolo, my tank is working awesome, and on my 3rd refill. When I first got it, I had that bad taste, and put the liquid from the tank back into my bottle. Now when my tank was empty, I refilled it from that same bottle that i used when I first got the phoenix, and there was that nasty taste again! It's my fault, i shouldn't have put that liquid back into the bottle, and just should have discarded it. So for any newbies that got this, don't make that same mistake if you get one that has that taste. Now I have a 30ml bottle i wasted I should have known better, lol

Ok ... I was finally able to get rid of the nasty primer taste after a few rinse and dry burns. I followed LD's video and I trimmed the wicks even with the holes ... but I still can not get these things to wick without taking 2 or 3 primer puffs in between each vape. I'm using a 70PG/30VG juice ... so I just don't understand it.

When I do get a good hit ... they vape like a champ! I just wish I could figure out how to get them to wick without the stupid primer puffs.

Any suggestions? Do I need to thin the wick?

I literally vaped it dry. That's never happened before. When I got the first dry hit, I checked it and it was completely dry. The wicks were even showing some white. This is the most impressive ecig device I have ever heard of or even imagined. I really hope we get some replacement parts so I don't end up with a lot of covers. I haven't had to clean it yet and I got it last Monday.

i have also had very good luck with these. what liquid are you using and what pg/vg ratio?

Most of my liquid is 80 pg/20 vg and it's all from Vapor Bomb. It was my butterdoodle custom flavor I had them mix for me: butterscotch and snickerdoodle. I have some 70/30 that vapes dry, too.

i had a juice that was stubborn in the phoenix, i also had 1 stubborn phoenix itself, now im talking out of many doezens.

now i did the same fix i always have done with bottom coils i general like lorddavon has shown his videos so ill make a video with what worked for me , hopefully i can have it up tomorow

as far as i know there are 2 known "fixes" for dry hits/poor wicking.

first one is to lift the center post of the carto slightly, the second one is to pull a string or 2 of the wicking material and allow the thicker juice to enter in.

what i have noticed is when i get to juices that are thicker than 70pg/30vg, i start having wicking/dry-hit problems .

IF i have to vape thicker juices, i put it on the 3ml phoenix because its easier to squeeze the tube with my fingers every now&then (works almost like a bottom feed mod). this way you "force" juice into the coils...works slick. (it does work on the smaller phoenix too but the tube is smaller, hence little tougher to squeeze.

i havent seen any improvement in wicking by trimming the wicks flush with the opening.

Help me understand Lord Davons video.. Is the mod you are referencing the enlarging of the center hole on the plug? If so, what effect does that have?

I haven't even tried my 3ml Phoenxi that I got the same day as the XL. Still lovin me some Phoenix XL every day. I would like to try the mods before I fill them up. But I really want to know what I'm doing first - and why

i haven't modded mine and it has worked great right out of the box. I don't like to have to mod a carto to make it work myself and don't. I am completely happy with mine and if they continue to work without modding them I will continue to use them. I think there are many vapers especially those that have used ce2's a lot think you have to make some kind of mod on every carto whether they work good or not. That is why I've stayed away from them until recently. These ce3's work great for me both the xl's and 3 ml size.
