Yikes, you didn't use much force either, huh? Did it go in fine, maybe only slightly rough, and just refuse to back out?

Hopefully this right here works!!!

Pretty much. I wasn't torquing it down like a madman.

Yeah, I'm afraid to try to force it. I can't even force it into the threading on the Rose base. I tried a few times yesterday wondering if the threads just needed "cleaned up" a bit. I'm not willing to do that on most of my mods. Yes, I could replace 510s easily on some of them, but still.

Btw folks, I just remembered URBA's 510 has a unique threading. It's made that way so that when it sits atop even on a wonky threaded mod it doesn't wobble. You just need to apply a little extra force to thread it in (in some mods), for the first time, and it makes its way nice & proper thereafter. And yes, nothing adverse happens with either the URBA's or the mod's 510 threads.

Yeah.... I'm scared to try to get it onto the dicodes... It didn't want to go at all. The base looks a lot like the base on the nahualon, which also doesn't fit the dicodes at all.

Anyone else here have a Rose stand? If you can force it on that, and it solves the problem, I'll ask one of the burly neighbors to do mine. My right wrist is shot. I mean, like facing surgery shot. I'm not capable of forcing it. I'd rather not resort to vise grips as the Urba is very striking. I don't even want to chance that with a thick rubber grippy between the base and pliers if I don't have to.

Dang. I was hoping it was just me and my hopeless wrist. I'm sorry, Arthur. I sure hope you get it off.

Maybe I'll just live with the gap or use it on that one mech. Probably the cheap copper threads on that one were the reason it screwed down.
It screws down fine on the sig150 too. Lol

Hmm, I had issues with my 3 100Ws, though my old one has a Varitube 510 now. I don't have a 150, but they are priced quite nicely right now with the new tc ones about to be released.
Yeah it just feels super weird in my hand since I pretty much just use the dicodes or the wae2.

I hate to say it but I'm not "Cleaning up" an original I paid over $100 for. Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to wait and open mine before I make a solid judgement. I'm hoping for a winner :D Thanks qorax for you great patience and understanding :)

^ I fully understand your viewpoint @skin_e1 and I appreciate that. Yes, it is absolutely unacceptable to have a hi-end authentic and then have to mod it. It is just no done.

But I also understand that these types of devices are modder based. Single handedly produced by a genuine vape aficionado, in limited quantities, per his/her capability. These are not like Kayfuns, mass produced authentics. And $#1T does happen.

@petar k has been around since ages. Many of us have learned how to setup a genny successfully b'coz of him. His previous products (tho just one, with various versions) have rave reviews. There's a serious fan following, me included, for The Vapers. And prior to his FB stint we could only touchbase him thru VaporWall &/or VapePit. Yet we bought them.

I'm not trying to defend him or anything. I have no stakes in his model of business. And neither am I obliged to. I just wanted to put a perspective into a situation ~ and that pre-2014 influx on vaping - people like Petar K were our only source of good vaping devices.

Your concerns are genuine. But like I said, "$#1T does happen".
