Decided to bring an old rda and mod out into rotation today: istick 200 and a herakles series rda. simple dual 22ga spaced 5 wraps @ 3mm ohming out around 0.32 and giving a great TC vape right out of the gate at 55w/450f with rayon wicks. Trying to remember why I shelved this rda now, guessing it was the trying to plan out a series build which is much easier now than when I first got this. I was shooting for 0.30 and pretty much hit the nail on the head.

All of this old school goodness has inspired me.

Pico Mega with a Melo III, Provari Mini with a Z-Atty Pro and Kbox Mini Platinum with an Aspire Nautilus 2. The Kbox/Nautilus is still in regular rotation as one of my MTL rigs for the car.
Not sure on the others, but the z atty is definitely old school

Got a question on using mesh as wick like you appear to be doing. Does it short on you in touching the coil/s? If so is there a means to ensure it doesn't short? Been considering using mesh but I'd like to have a better knowledge od it beforehand.

By the by, my set up on a Gorge below. I've since replaced the cotton with Rayon, yet again. :) It's doing well at 0.6Ω.

Mesh will short , so you must oxidize it. Usually you cut a piece and torch it some, then roll a wick and thread it into your coil. You then need to slowly pulse the coil, which oxidizes it more. Or you can just cut a section of mesh, roll a wick, insert into coil, then just pulse it until it oxidizes. Once the area under coil is oxidized, the rest of the mesh won't short on anything it touched...you will need the right amount of mesh in coil, if too lose, you will get hot spots. It does take patients and a bit of tinkering, but once it's right, flavor is exceptional

How about some blueberry donuts in the Limitless? Setup is a pair of Ni80 tigers clocking in at .16 ohms on the Paranormal at around 65W. Sehr gut!

That drip tip looks a little wonky on there but it tastes good. I ordered a bunch of tips from China but you know how that goes. It's a slooow boat.
