I've shown you a couple of other pics of Christi with setups. Finally, the finish cured to the point where I was comfortable with loading the body. The finish took over 2 months to cure, which is odd. Here at 5000' and 25% humidity, this particular finish usually cures in a week or two. Oh well, each piece of wood is different.
I need to fix a minor wiring problem, then I'm going to mount the neck. Hopefully soon, she'll be singing. I'll post a pic of the whole guitar later. With a setup, of course.
Speaking of...that's one of my crew members that helped me get through work. A Uwell Hypercar with a Joyetech ProCore Air Plus.
It looks like next week now. I had to order a switch, which I'll get Monday or Tuesday. So I ordered some American made knobs as well. I see that I didn't mention that Christi is my first "All American" guitar. The wood is all from the US, and so is everything attached to it. Even the strap pegs were made by a machine shop in San Diego. That's why I had to order the switch and knobs. I was out of American made switches and knobs. I had some CA made Dakaware knobs, but I guess that I used them all. That’s going to be gorgeous, can’t wait to see it done!
