Ramp it up slowly. Start at 9w for a bit...then try 11w. Give it time to wick.

I doubt it is a 0.5ohm coil. I would guess it is a 1.8.

Always go by what the mod reads the coil at. I would vape that at 12w.

I'm amazed at the difference between what the mod reads and what the box says!

The coils in those were never .5Ω - either 1.6 or 1.8
1.8 is ballpark.
Try it at 8W and adjust up. I'd bet it won't be enjoyable over 10-11W

8w was MUCH better! Obviously I need to invest in a tank now too. Because it's not giving me much taste or clouds at 8w. Thanks very much, Mowgli!

OK not original Evod but SSOCC.
No experience with them.
Maybe you tried it before it was fully wicked and it scorched.
Try it for a few at 8W and it's probably a goner if it still tastes nasty

I've been using the evod on my pen style e-cig all day, so it is not a wicking problem. I probably fried it using it at 20w though as the taste has a slightly burnt flavor . I'll change it out and stay at 8w or under!

Couldn't wait any longer to try out the Asmodus Ohmsmium. Had been holding out to mate to the Squape R w/Chris Munn polished BellCap but the Rs Chimney won't be here from StattQualm till Friday so loaded the Ti-built K5 on it and took it out for Maneuvers... Awww HAIL Yay-is.
Now really can't wait to strap the BellCapped Squape to 'er.
