thanks.

that's the one that come with the hybrid and 510 connector, right? is it 25mm? sorry to ask...I'm on the hunt for a new tube. lol.

No, thanks for asking! Yes, Comes with both. I'm using the 510 right now. It's heavy/solid. Has decent venting. Flush switch bottom with a very smooth action but a pretty long throw. All fits together nicely with nice machining. I'm getting no indications of any excessive voltage drop e.g. no heating of any threading or connection points. I think it is just about 25mm. I have the serpent smm on it and there is just a little bit of room left on top of the mod. Sorry, got myself in the recliner pined under the laptop and the mics are on the other side of the room. It's a keeper in my books.

Mesh will short , so you must oxidize it. Usually you cut a piece and torch it some, then roll a wick and thread it into your coil. You then need to slowly pulse the coil, which oxidizes it more. Or you can just cut a section of mesh, roll a wick, insert into coil, then just pulse it until it oxidizes. Once the area under coil is oxidized, the rest of the mesh won't short on anything it touched...you will need the right amount of mesh in coil, if too lose, you will get hot spots. It does take patients and a bit of tinkering, but once it's right, flavor is exceptional

Thank you. :) Had someone on my end explain as much too. I may have to try using mesh as wick, simply for durability & affordability. Ready X wick too is being suggested and that's fine, I've used it before. It is rather expensive although I suppose for long haul it averages out.

There both good wicks that do last because you can dry burn them but are alot trickier, so there is a trade off.

Looks like some very neat building/wicking.
l bought the coils, part of the CoilMaster Skynet pack. They heat very well, perfectly even. The wicking is the result of OCD... can't help it.
One day I'll have the skills to make my own Clapton/alien wire.
