Decisions, decisions...Red tortoise or aged pearl?

Comp rig or carto?

My comp rig is badass and getting badasser. I'm going with the Tauren in copper, since it's my hardest hitting mod (and I have the science to back it up). Those coils are both .08ohm--killer! Or is it .8ohm? I forget...

@icepickmaker84 Here's the pickguard I decided on. Aged pearl looks fantastic with the burgundy body, and red tortoise looks putrid on it. What do you think of the pickups? They're Artec Hot Rails. Very hot. My Sigelei Sobra is kind of lurking in the back.

This is Caprice. It looks like it's about done, but I have to recoat the top in oil, and it'll probably take a week or two to harden to the point where I'm comfortable loading the body. Wotofo and Purge are responsible for my setup, which is standing on the bridge. Serpent RDTA on a Slim Piece.

I still haven't decided on the bridge yet. The one you see is a Fender Toronado bridge. But I have another bridge, currently baking, that's a Gibson Nighthawk bridge. I'll have to take more pics!

As soon as I saw the look of that coil blown up in the pic, my conscience got the better of me, and I heard my Dad's voice in my head - "Only Lazymen would have scruffy coils like that, boy! You really wouldn't want to be a Lazyman would you?" so I re -did it.

It's now 0.7 ohms and tidier.

The only cotton we had in the house was the cotton balls my wife uses to take her make up off, so she gave me a couple - and guess what, using that gave me none of the off taste I normally get intitially when using the proper stuff.

Pearl goes with everything. But that tortoise is beautiful.
