Oops...Hard to get me off guitars once I get started.I’m taking about the rda the shipping is 40 bucks to get two redemption RDAs to me. I think I’ll go with the axial it’s only 10 bucks to ship to me on another site
Fanned frets. A few smaller manufacturers still make them. The frets allow you to both play intoned and micro tones as well. Very difficult to play. My preferred solution to the "problem" is fretless guitars. I think that I might have trouble selling guitars with fanned frets, and they're kind of evil slotting the fretwires. This guitar has frets going at an angle.
I'd never sell anybody a guitar that wasn't in tone. I could do ya a neck with a 1.75" nut width and maybe a 16" radius, if you like it flatter. I'd have to discuss with you the particulars of the neck profile with you.Mind you, some of us that can only play melodies by the dots, Burns Ernst, Dave Monk and Randon 275 style, with backing tapes have a soft spot for well fretted well intonated guitars with wide fretboards and singing pick ups ....

Well, all here, I'll be taking a break for a bit while I head over to the West of Scotland to do up a holiday cottage I've bought over there.
God I can't quite believe it's that long ago that I started doing this as my Dad's labourer and apprentice back when I was 14 in 1964 and here's me still at it a couple of months off of 70 now!
So what devices are going with me? Bombproof thingies? State of the art stuff? Things with external batteries where I'd need chargers and all that?
Nah - just three iSticks and a Nauti Mini, spare glass, a charging cord, a packet of coils and half a litre of juice ... "Seemples!" as the Meerkat in the advert would say - be good all and see you on the other side!

I was looking for a 60's era Japanese neck that I'm sure is still somewhere. Not something that was ever popular on American guitars, but was commonly used for some time by especially, by the Germans and Japanese. It's a fretwire that sits in front of the string nut. The space between them is the zero fret. It sets all of the strings at the same height, and provides a "clean line" for intonation. I built a guitar early on with a zero fret. Lots of questions about that one.
Hey folks--if you're interested, Armaggedon still has Redemption RDA's for $10 apiece. I just got mine yesterday, and I'm quite pleased. They're almost identical to a 24mm Apocalypse. The biggest difference being an improvement to the posts. The blocks hang down instead of resting on top.

I love it! If you like the Apocalypse, then you'll like the Redemption. It's almost identical to the 24mm Apocalypse, but the new posts make for an easier build. Two .9ohm SS316l single strand.I just ordered a Redemption. How do you like it? What build are you using?

$10 each--better get one or two before all that's left is rainbow.

People who have also played string (bowed) instruments have a much easier time adjusting to this.
